I would've been in Georgia about 3 years ago but I couldn't afford to make the move from L.A. to Atlanta at the time so I had to settle for Missouri. I wanted to move to the Athens area for school shortly after I got here but I've had a pretty long string of bad luck. Now I'm just plain tired of this place and I'm ready to leave.

Considering I can stay with my family for a few weeks and I can get a part/full time job in Athens, I'll be there around the 30th of July. Unfortunately, I won't be taking my car with me so nobody will be able to see it.

I look forward to possibly meeting some of you guys and I'm sure I'll run into Carguy considering he goes to school where I want to live.

Get with some of the GA guys and ride up with them to my meet on August 9th. It's on a saturday and it's about 4 hrs away from ATL...

That'd be something I'd definitely consider, I hope I can get my motorcycle running by then.

For sure, I'll most likely stay in Madison for a couple months. The first thing I have to do when I get there is find a new National Guard unit to drill with and I'll more than likely work with them for a little while.

Finding a somewhat cheap place to live when I get there is my first priority so I hope there is no shortage or rental properties.

I got my stimulus check in today for $823, so that'll take car of the rental truck to get my stuff down there. $740 for the truck and approximately $300 for gas. There's $220 left for gas which I'll have with my next paycheck.

I need to find somewhere to work before I go so I don't have to get stuck living outside but that shouldn't be too hard.

I found out today that my aunt is trying to get me roomed up with two lesbians living in some country road house about 9 miles south of Watkinsville. That either sounds like:

A) a whole lot of fun
B) a whole lot of trouble

Either way I can't wait to see how this is going to go down.

if the answer is B, LET ME KNOW.

btw if you happen to be in the area this coming tuesday-thursday, pm me and we could possibly meet up.

I won't be there that soon, like I said before it'll be right at the end of the month. Either the 30th or the 31st.

What apartments are you living in and what's the rent like? I was looking into some studios around the city ranging from $350-$450 a month.

I want to know more about the lesbians too man. I'll fill you in as I get info on them.

i am living at Abbey West. it's a couple miles from the uga campus. it's a four bedroom, four bath with rent like 350 a month per person (plus utilities). it's kinda expensive but there were no up front fees and the apartment is furnished. it is about the same price as my dorm was last year.

Need a roommate? I'm going to guess the answer is no but I thought I'd ask either way.

Thanks, my aunt is looking right now for some places. She's found a couple decent ones she says.

I won't be moving out there till mid august as of now, if you didn't catch my cop car ride thread I have to stick around here to testify against a woman in court next month. At least sticking around here a little bit longer I'll have time to earn a little more money and get my motorcycle into a shop. That kinda insures me having some way to get around once I get there.
