So, With a baby due in september, I have been pressured to find a decent 4 door sedan. I'v looked around for awhile, and if some of you recall, I was considering trading the zx2 in on a zx5. Well, I passed on the zx5, thank god. A few days ago I was fillin up the zx2 and looked across the street and noticed a decent looking jetta. Well after I was done gasing up, I drove over and took a closer look. No rust, no dents, looked to be in decent shape, and they where only asking $6000 for it (2002). I figured it was the 2.slow with a price tag like that, so I figured I would go in the following day, and take a closer look. Well the next day I got up nice and early, went and checked it out. Turns out it's a 1.8t matched with the lovely 5 speed. Loaded with leather interior, which is in mint shape, power everything including sunroof. Took it for a test drive, and it drove real nice, pulls strong after 1800rpm, and it's stock, never been molested. So I tossed him an offer, and he accepted. Long story short, I will be picking up my new (to me) ride next week!

I will be keeping the zx2 of course, seeing as how it's payed for, I figure I will put it in storage for now, and start a rebuild.

Pics to follow, once it is picked up!

Planning any mods? Bet you cant resist. Itll start with an intake, then an exhaust, then a larger FMIC, then a boost controller. After that its on!

lol funny you should ask. I already ordered a decent CAI, some upgraded piping, and a greddy BOV. I plan to put in a turbo timer, and maybe upgrade the IC before the end of this year. But who knows. I only told myself I would do suspension this year on the zx2, and I went way beyond that, not saying my car is full tilt or anything.

sweet man! Just like my audi a4. Apr makes some real nice upgrade kits for the turbo. Better hurry and start modding!
