Well, Just had a 2 way alarm installed on my car, an APS997 by Installations Unlimited.

A bit disapointed however, they added power locks to the car, but forgot to screw in the passenger actuator because he was rushing to finish. *Got the car back 40minutes after closing time* Was quoted 4pm, car was finished at 6pm.

Also, The shock sensor doesnt work, nor does the window sensor... I dont know if it was something I did on the remote or what, but im still irritated. And just my luck they are closed till monday !_!.

Any suggestions?

adjust the box, there should be two knobs under the dash on a little box. adjust higher for more sens and test.
ps wait 30 sec before testing to allow time to arm.

Didnt see it... Was just under it with a flashlight. Is it specific for this model, or something in general?

Went under the dash again. Still nothing. Only thing that is interactable is a lil switch with a red coating that is switched to the ON setting. Even pulled the box out so I could see all around it, and nothing.

they must of hidden it well or it doesn't have a shock sensor. its normally on the steering column or a some kinda brace.

Ill have to find it. I know it has a shock sensor, as before I left he told me he had it extra sensative because he saw the broken glass.

Now, My father noticed last night as I was driving home that I have NO brake lights...

IU is really pissin me off.

Brake light fixed. Blown Fuse. Haha.

Was sitting here going, "What the hell could they have screwed up so bad the brake lights stopped working..."

And DING! Imma go check the fuse. Sure enough, It was. And screw the fuse puller that comes on the fuse box cover. I couldnt get the brake light one out with it, had to use my Leaherman.

I wouldn't waist your time on it, they messed up the install, wait till monday and take it back to them, otherwise they can be pricks and say you screwed it up while messin with it.

They seem like assholes in General. I had a Sirius ST1 given to me, and wanted to set it up in my car. I read in the manual it had an Integrated FM transmitter, but the asshole told me 100 times I was wrong and needed to buy a sirius kit for it. Which i will be returning monday and after they finish fixin it, I will rub it in the dicks face. He was just a huge ass in general. Seems like they all are. They were fine untill the purchase was complete./
