My temporary exhaust

Well we cut off my muffler to put on a fart can, and when that kept falling off, i just took it off, and then today we bought a length of pipe and then i got the dual tip off of my friends old (stock) exhaust from his firebird... it doesn't quite come all the way to the end of the bumper but it's a lot better than just dumping it right next to the wheel, lol. And this is just temporary until I can afford the Trubendz (sp?) exhaust.

i really don't know... i havent had a friend do a drive by yet, and oddly enough, when you move the end of the pipe out past the beginning of the trunk, you can't really hear it from inside the car. http://www.mischief.tv/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif

BTW, it is the stock exhaust with the muffler cut off, so it still has a resonator.

when i put my borla on i opened the drivers while driving and got a good idea of how it sounded. not to safe, especially trying to shift and steering with my knee, but it worked

and it was a clean empty stretch of road to clear things up- i just realized how bad that sounded

If you keep the exhaust shorter, it runs like it has a hotter set of cams... Boy, when I was running nothing after the cat on my RS, that thing was pretty fast up top. That and LOUD.
