Alright so I have an S/R cluster, but the dealership will not turn back the mileage to match my cars. I bought it to replace my current one that has a broken speedometer. How can I switch the mileage without removing the needle?

The dealer won't do it because if they get caught it's like a $10k fine and then the government and public would question their entire used car lot, thus starting a hold on the entire inventory until every used vehicle is inspected.

Yeah I know, but some dealerships will despite it being against the law. I just need to figure out how to change the mileage

some dealerships will do it ... but only to mach the milage in YOUR car.. theres a guy at one of y local ones that does.. its a lil hassle .. but having moreothan one car makes it wasy.. cuz you can tput any milage on your car once they send the cluster in to be matched.. if you drove while it was away .. the milage would be diffeent when it got back..
theres also several places online that do speedos.. used em a few times with the a1 vw's .. OR you can switch out your old clusters odometer into the new odometer..
