Got Tilt?

Got a tilt column over the weekend, haven't installed it but its still neat, got that the steeringwheel w/ cruise, the trunk plastic, L inner fender ( I need the R though) and some plastic fasteners for $50.

I won't buy a car without a tilt wheel OR a wheel that is in my perfect position if it doesn't have tilt, like the ZX2 wheel is.

My sister was going to sell me a low mileage black 1990 Z24 when I was a teenager for like $2500 but I didn't want it because I hated the position of the non-tilt steering wheel. :D

i need to get a tilt column for my s/r been meaning to do it for years...just never have.

My S/R has it, I don't really think it matters THAT much, I don't know about these tall guys though it may help them. I got mine out of conveinence, OBTW you will have to remove 2 screws that have no head on them to swap the ignition, I used the smaller size safety wire pliers and will be putting hex head fasteners in their place. I will post Pics when I do it.

Actually, I'm only 5'6", so maybe it helps the tall freaks and the midgets alike, but not so much for "normal" sized people. :D

Yeah I had some lieing around so luckily I didn't have to go find them...

Maybe it helps with sorter people cause you can lower the steering wheel to see over it... I love having the steering wheel low I am 5'11"

off topic. but im 6'1 and i need to do something formy heads sake. I have tilt as a stock option on my 2000 zx2. I also had it on my1991 EGT. im tired of bumping my head. I guess the fact that i have a sunroof makes the roof lower.

I am 6ft 2in and have no problems not having tilt.

I have Prelude Si seats, I don't really think that the tilt helps for taller people as the steering wheel all the way up on a tilt wheel is the same height as a not tilt wheel. I maybe confused on the height thing, so I don't know.
