So I figured I'd start another worklog since I've gotten a couple things added since my old worklog on the pre-crashed site.

Basically I've had this car since I was 16, I am now 21. 1999 Sport/premium atx :( Car was completely stock when I got it. Every mod was purchased, done, or installed by me aside from the painting of the body kit. Everyone has an opinion and I love to hear the bad and good. Thanks to anyone I have purchased stuff from and everyone behind the scenes of teamzx2 to provide this wealth of information, it has helped me to get my car where it is.

These pictures range from 1-3 years old. The last pic is without the drop but it's one of the better pics I have. I plan to update this thread with some stuff you haven't seen yet, my 8" subs, a cleaned up engine bay and some projects I will be working on. Maybe a video or two.

As far as appearance I'm pretty set on what I have, maybe one day I'll get the car painted. The only other thing I'd like to do is install a celica spoiler which I have sitting in my room. My hood is fading but I plan on taking care of that this week. Oh, and I have a pedo bear sticker waiting to be put on haha.

Performance wise I'm not sure what else to do. I have most bolt ons I could think of aside from internal work (cams, headwork). I'm sure most would suggest MTX swap... well show me the money and I'll make it happen. The car is my daily driver so I can't have it out of commission for long periods. And besides my doors add like atleast 300hp to the wheels.

I'm sure there is stuff I left out. Thanks for looking folks, I'll keep you updated.:beernana:

I noticed you said hotshot header but that one looks like it's a gude?

edit: could you get a side shot of the doors open? ive seen a zx2 with them and didn't like them because you had to almost wiggle under the door to get out, yours look like they do a better job

To be honest I'm not even sure what a gude header looks like lol. But yeah, I ordered it from zxtuner about 3 years ago. Love it!

Doors open as in opened up like they are? Because the doors do actually swing outwards like a regular door about 10 inches before you bring them up. Plenty of room. But yeah I'll get a couple shots for you.

It cost $563 total. I bought the kit off ebay, it's actually a 95-96 Honda civic kit which didn't require modification for it to fit.

Uhh... the gude header is a one piece, and it is a 4-1. That is a two piece 4-2-1.

LoL no. Previous owner painted it the blue color. Are those valve covers really legendary? I means it's just a regular cover thats blue right, nothing special?

I'm hoping to get the cover powdercoated by zxtwo though soon.

To a point yes, there were only 1000 blue factory painted V/C's.

If I recall I believe everything together was around $250. I bought my stuff from ebay opposed to the actual DEI (Design Engineering) site which saved me a lot of money. They're the ones who make the cryo2 system. I have the cryo2 tank and the intake kit as listed in my performance section.. and the purge lines were optional, but I got them for shows. It's fun to use and co2 is a lot cheaper than nitrous. The performance part is pretty neat too.
Co2 goes from the tank through some ss braided lines that goes to an intake piece I have inline with my aftermarket intake.. inside this piece is a hollow tear shaped bulb that instantly freezes over which cools the air going into the intake. Cooler air=denser air=more power.
