Whats there to do?

A coworker and I are taking a roadtrip this weekend and may possibly end up over your way.

Thinking of maybe going to virginia beach or just head south.. or west.. who knows. anyways I would like some ideas on things her adn I could do out there.. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Drive down to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg,TN. Pleanty of places to shop, swim, play, romp around etc. It's gotta be less than a 4 hour drive. You get to drive throught the pretty mountains and stuff as well.....8)

We can go to kings dominion anytime.. its more of a "we wanna see whats in virginia thing" . amusment parks are a no go :/

take the drive down rt81 as fast as you can... that road is a BLAST!

my suggestion is if headed to va beach take 301 out of maryland instead of 95 south.

VA beach is cool..i spent all my free time there when i was stationed in Yorktown. also..around Yorktown, you can visit the old battlefields at night and go ghost hunting. be sure to ask the locals about Crawford Bridge and check it out...it freaked me the hell out!
