Where: yellow2000S/R's House (464 Old Stage Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339)
When: Oct 18th - Oct 19th 2008
Why: Good time, hang out, leaves changing colors = good pictures


Something that I ask:
Please donate a few $$$ to put towards drinks, snacks, food, etc.


All weekend:
Soda, water, juices available. BYOB as long as you are of age.

BRING SEATING. We have some lawn chairs but its limited.


Friday Oct 17th:

- People will be able to arrive if they want to providing its around 5pm or later.


Saturday Oct 18th:

- Anybody that came Friday night will be fed breakfast.
- Wait for more people to show up.
- Around 1-2pm leave for a cruise for pics and go to a park or something for pics.
- Head to Sports Emporium after pics/park/whatever to ride Go-Karts like we do at Cybermans meets.
- Head back to my parents place for dinner.
- Dinner: Burgers, Hot Dogs, and/or Chicken on the grill. We have a rotisserie attachment which makes chicken that is AWESOME. Chips, ColeSlaw, Potato Salad, Macaroni salad.
- Wind down the night around a fire.


Possible:

Saturday Night, set up my Projector outside and project it onto the end of our shed or make some sort of screen. Watch an "appropriate" movie. List any ideas for movies that may come out between now and then or just movies in general to watch.



Sunday Oct 19th:

- Anybody that stays Saturday night will be able to have Cereal or Pop-Tarts... LOL
- Just chat and recap the meet and any other BS. Talk crap about others that have already left. The usual thing that goes on LOL.




For those staying the night:

We have a large Pop-Up camper which has 2 king size beds, a table that collapses, and a couch that collapses that is rated for 9 people (6 can sleep comfortably). If that's not enough, you can sleep inside our house. We have a futon and 2 couches along with some floor space for anybody that brings sleeping bags or something. We also have plenty of area out back for anybody that wants to set up tents or anything.

Its cool if you bring the girl. Just no "messing" around please... LOL.


As for hotels, there are a few within ~10-15 minutes.

Pacesetter "header" is going back to Eric, same with the pacesetter shifter. Header was part of the deal, shifter... I don't care about (I have a pacesetter around here somewhere, same with the B&M from my S/R).

I plan on getting a Kami header soon. Not sure if I want to spend the extra $50 for ceramic or not (probably will). Full length header is the reason I got a CAT and longer res... I hope its not annoying at all. It was a bit expensive tho.

Weld flex and HF cat into zx2guy19s exhaust

Hoping my header gets here prior so I can have my car dyno'd in time for the meet. If not, I'll be installing my kami header / trubendz exhaust.


Anybody else is welcome to use some tools as well if you have a small project.

You can bring yours if you'd like. Wouldn't hurt... LOL. There are only so many 10mm sockets to go around!

I have ft/lb and in/lb torque wrenches for those that actually use them. I also have 4 spare jack stands (other 4 are occupied) if there is a larger project such as exhaust or something. I'd rather a swap not being done... so nothing that large. I have 2x10s cut down to 3' lengths and a small piece of 2x4 I put under 1 end to drive the car up on so I can get the jack under easier.


Tonight I'm dropping the gas tank from the 98 and then its ready for scrap. I plan on having it out of here by mid next week. Then its just a matter of doing some cleanup out in the garage and then I'll be ready (till the day before when I have to get tons of food/drinks.)

I was figuring parking all the Zs to the left of the backyard (cherry tree) and all the "non-Zs" on the shed side of the yard.

I'll have my and my parent's ZX2s parked where I want all the Zs parked.

The yard doesn't look quite that good right now but I fertilized the yard just over a week ago and spread seed over the yard 2 days ago. It's already a lot greener than it was but not like in the above pic.

I got permission from my neighbor (behind shed) that I can use their property if the cars don't all fit in our back yard.


A cruise might be outta the question if EVERYbody shows... trying to keep 20-30 cars together would be a PITA.

I'll be figuring the route out here soon and then drive it and take a few pics before the meet. Leaves are already starting to change some around here... hopefully it will be perfect for the meet.

Distance is only 18 miles 1 way if we go the route I just made but the travel time is 45mins. It would be even more if we stopped in a spot or 2 and took pics. The cruise will basically be to Sports Emporium.

It would be awesome if I could get the little cone course setup at work but I dont see the owner being willing to let a bunch of guys "auto-x" on it because of liability reasons... people wrecking / damaging property and stuff like that. We will be passing by the dealership tho.

Thats a skinny ass road, but I like how the trees are along it. I think we should be ok with a cruise as long as we don't get people trying to pass cars this time ;) An idea so people wouldn't get loosed if it is a big turn out would be to have people that know the rout scattered threw out the line so no man/woman is left behind.

At Sports Emporium it is $33.xx for a 6 pack of go-kart tickets or $52.50 for a 10-pack. It is $450.00 for any track rental.

If we got 14 people it would be cheaper to just rent a track for an hr instead of all getting 6 packs (I think thats how long $450 does) or if we all got 10 packs and split it (like we did last time, 5 rides each) it would be cheaper than if it was 16 people with 10 packs. 5 rides each is pretty good and you get bruised up. Yet, at the same time, if we rented a track and it was only an hr, we would have to rotate people because of how many people there would be compared to gokarts.

There are cameras and radars on 76... they are mainly used for monitoring traffic flow and speed average. I'm pretty sure they dont get enough detail to capture license plates or anything tho but all they really need is a car / description and when you pass through the toll there is the plates for comparison.

I drove from the Rossmoyne to Bedford (90 miles 1 way) almost every weekend for 15 months. We had a list of different areas where cops sat, the cameras, and speed traps.

Unfortunatelly, that list has been trashed for over a year now... we got used to it and just knew where they were as we were driving.


I will tell the guys to keep it in the speed limit - 5+ area in the Breezewood area (within 2 miles both directions), especially when going home, because cops like to sit in that area a lot. I'd say, 30% of the weekends there was a cop with somebody pulled over and other cops back where they sit.

If I didn't have a ZX2 next to me in the air, I would have just thought the floor pans were supposed to be like that with just a bunch of dents on the reinforcements... but seeing my dads flat underside, I knew otherwise (also knew something was wrong when I put the metal heel guard in).
