I remember seeing pictures of it and I thought it looked like crap. Must have been bad angles because that thing is awesome.

As much as I would agree that its a great piece of American engineering, I don't really have an interest in such a big huge all powerful car. I'd rather have a smaller AWD 500hp Econo box or something like the RS500.

Big cars are a pain to drive in day to day traffic, and take up more road space on the back roads. I would want something that could live in the city and haul ass in the country.

The car weighs 2900 lbs, the only thing huge about it is the HP

looks nice. is super fast. but for some reason i dont think i would buy it. theres plenty of other cars in that price range that i would probably buy before it.

That commercial showed the lacross, enclave, and lucerne. I was playing in a fully loaded enclave today lol.

And pimp, you did hear just how wide it is right?

My only issue is it is only pushing 14lbs of boost. I think that the engine could more than likely hold 18-20 with the right touch.

That would crank the power up a bit more.

thats an issue?!?!?! the car has over 1000 hp and weighs less than 3k and u need to push more power out of it!!! hahahahahahahaha.

u mustve had a similar birth to ricky bobbys to have a need for speed that bad. i would almost be scared to go wot in that thing on the street.

Yeah but the only time that matters is when you're going into a corner or trying to park.

if you can't get traction with 14 lbs why use more

did anybody else se the Horsepower gauge? that would be kinda cool to have. And i love the fact that it has a 32 gallon tank and can burn a full tank in 7 minutes/1 gallon in 15 seconds but at the opposite end, it can go 670 miles on a tank if you can stay out of boost.

I love those mpg also. That can only mean how well designed the engine and pcm are. Another reason why I'd per fer a V8 over a V10/V12 or larger. Plus weight doesn't hurt either.

Awesome car! So what are my chances of Jay adopting me? Also, I too need to add tissue to my grocery list. lol Quick newb question, how can it function properly without BOV's, only using the wastegate?

watch the streetfire vid on the ssc website. the dude said that 14psi was way under capacity. so pretty much if the veyron pulls ahead ssc just kicks the boost up a little and theyll still be in the runnings.

A 7 food wide vehicle almost takes up an entire lane. It's likely about as wide as a big rig, and have you ever tried passing a big rig on a country lane? It's a bit tight.

I'm not sure if the SSC is any larger than any other super cars, but I just don't know if I'd like something that large on back roads. Plus, you'd have to drive it all but perfect roadways due to its super low stance.

Ford RS200
Length - 13.2'
Width - 5.75
Weight: 2315 lb
Performance 0-60 Range from 2.1 to 3.2 seconds.
Quarter mile average was around 11.4

Not exactly as fast the SSC, but I'd give up the speed for ability to drive it almost anywhere.

that car looks fast but its butt fugly. and why would u take a super car on backroads? i would stick to well marked ones personally. not risk the gravel shooting up and hitting my awesome paint or accidentally driving to fast and sliding on the gravel

that thing sounded awesome when he fired it up. i was expecting a high-pitched, Ferrari kinda sound, but it sounds like a muscle car. i want one.
