Hello, im from Tijuana, Mexico and this is my worklog for my '99 ZX2 S/R.
In early 2005 i had a ATX blue zx2 that i was very happy with, (dad got it in ´98, i bought it from him ´02)
mom and me.

but i wanted an S/R, so after talking with some guys from this site, one day a spoted this little yellow car near my house. Lucky me, it turn out that the owner was a friend of a friend, after negotiating a little bit i finally got it.

It had a salvage title and a terrible paint job and lots and lots of details.

The roush intake, that was leater sold to Kilroy, who sold it on ebay.

Couple weeks later i start to mod it, first was the 17 inch MSR rims and the sound system from the other Z, witch was a Boos amp and a Sony sub.

That same month i got the windows limo tinted, c/f altezzas and a shorty antena

On june i got the zxtuner strut tower bar, the JBA header and a celica gt wing and now the car looked a lot diferent.

About October that year, zx2guy (old member from Carlsbad,CA) posted that he was giving away 2 crack front bumber to the first person to get to his place, at that time i was the only one from so-cal that was posting so i got them and they where yellow !!!! lol.

I like the erebuni and it fitted better, so i learn to use fiberglass and fixed it.

Shortly after i found the side skirts for 20 dlls at a junk yard, they where broke so i had to fix that. I bought the back part on ebay, ofcourse it didnt fitted that well, but at least i had a full b/k and it was very cheap.
I gave the other bumper to the guy who install me the kit.

Bought Cibermans yellow valve cover and got the hotshoot intake

Mid 06 i found a C/F Invader hood on ebay, for 150 dlls, so i bought it, bad thing is that it was cracked. I also found on ebay the zxtuner headlight for the amazing price of 130 dlls, got them and install evo brand angel eyes.
Dont mind the mugen decal i was in a local car club.

Around the same time i custom made sidemirrors using the stock mirror base and accord mirrors. (this where broke a couple weeks ago, and am not making another set of this)

September ´06 i got the zxtuner hotshot 2.5 exhaust with magnaflow mufler, CTA intake, deleted the VCT and bought both cam gears from ebay for 70 dlls.

Last months of ´06 i got a Focus arm rest (70 dlls), RTM ZX2 engrave shift knob (30 dlls), a jensen headunit (300 dlls), MOMO floormats (35 dlls), MOMO door sills (40 dlls) and original leather seats (120dlls), i also fab a gouge pod.

Ive spended a lot of time working in the car and also getting new stuff for the zx2 comunity.
1 -Car is getting a re-paint. ( got it july 16 )
2 - MOMO pedals. ( got them early july )
3 - 12¨ sony subs. (2) ( got them early july )
4 - Sound Storm 1FD1500 amp and new wire kit. ( arrives july 18 )
5 - Drill & gold plated disc w/ axxis pads. ( installing them july 18 )
6 - C/F wiper cowl and spark plug cover. ( picking them up july 18 )

All this has to be done, install & finish by Sunday 20 for a car show.
Im getting married on November 20th. so pretty much this is going to be my last zx2 mods, i might do a wire tuck but not sure yet, im going to start to build my house and im not going to afford to go to the movies, lol
I plan on getting a 03 hopefully i 1 or 2 year, but i know my future wife will say no, we have been together for 10 years, since i was 16, same time ive been involve with a zx2, so she says is time to move on to something better.
