my buddy has a zx2 03 he has a couple acc that run off the obd2 port if i say like i add a couple obd2 ports will the comp still feed sig and read signal if they are just spliced into it

Do you need more access? Parallel circuits should be fine, but who knows how the current flow to/from the other devices will affect anything else.

Couldn't he just make his own splitter that would plug into the existing port? Hit the junk yard, clip the ends off a couple OBD2's, and wire a female end onto it. Don't know if it'd work, but just my $0.02

well thats sorta the plan, and yes more access is need for some of the plug in stuff like a full run gear comp and other acc.

maybe we will try that simplicity05 thanxz
any other thoughts on this would help to or any other way to hook ups

I'm not even sure it'd work man. I'm no mechanic by any means. I'm just thinking it'd be easier to do that than have to replace an OBD2 plug if something doesn't work correctly. If it works great, if not, just unplug the splitter and have a beer to celebrate :D
