Black S/R in Columbus, Ohio

just picked up an automart and sure enough i found a 2000 black s/r in there at a dealership in columbus. i think its at nelson hyundai off 70 north. they only want 3980 for it. basically its a steal. someone get this!!!

I just got back from kickin tires, and it's in GOOD ( not fair/ great/ mint condition) (minor chips/ small crack in windshield below mirror) for 132k mi. It needs brake work, but otherwise felt great. It's got cwq3 PCM! Woot! I'd of loved to had an ngpo, but not in 2k. I told him I'd take it for $3600+tax/title. He seems cool with those numbers because when he scoffed initially I told him he gave $1000, at best, to the previous owner on trade-in, so I'm willing to give him $2600 over that and "Mister, that's a good days profit on an eight year old car with 100k+^ miles!" Beside the fact that what I'm offering is better than "fair market value" for this car as-is.
It was after bankers' hours, so I'll hear about financing in the morning. My Bekin (sp?) score is above 700. He quoted 7% APR. Over 36 mos. That should only run me $125-$150/mo w/ no $ down, which I can handle.

The PCM is under the cubby. You hafta pull the center console. It's only 4 philips screws (2 below rear cupolder/ 2 behind shifter under first piece)
I told him that's VERY important, so he let me pull the console. He was aware of my ZX2 knowledge, because I drove my 98 (check sig).

(This is the most knowledge I know about the S/R) All I know is that there is a speed limiter of like, 255, but it's not enabled anyway. So you don't have a speed limiter with any S/R PCM.

the limit should be right around 155 because of the gearing in the trans. after that you will start to redline. yes ngp0 is the best SR pcm made (stock) and cwq3 is the 2nd best. it adjusts the air/fuel curve differently and the ngp0 was better for performance... btw what happened with this?

What happened to NGPO?
A Ford honcho prolly thought if too many ZX2ners got ahold of it, the streets wouldn't be safe for anyone else. LOL
It may have been an emissions concern or they realized that NGPO would raise transmission warranty replacements, because that part can't handle the performance too well.
