Anybody know if the intake gasket for this turbo..the one Gude sells.. is available per another turbo designation ? It looks like it is squarer than the T3 type. Talking about the 4 bolt hole one , not the 5 hole exhaust side of the turbo.

Thanks,

hah good luck. i looked all over for a damn gasket for that thing for 6 months never found anything. tried calling mitsubishi and they couldnt help unless i had the make and model of the car the turbo originially came from, which i dont. so

what i did all 3 times i had to redo the gaskets was use a product called fire-sil. Its a caulk type stuff thats heat resistant up to 2500 degrees or something, its made for sealing indoor fireplaces, its $16 a tube. Im not sure if anyone around you would have it but id say try and find something like it if you cant get a gasket, always worked for me and never leaked.

Interesting..will look for it. Also thought I could buy some copper sheet off eBay for some ridiculous price for 12" x 12" and fashion my own some cutting/drilling/grinding.

Is this the chrysler or the DSM turbo? Why cant you just go to the parts store and ask for a gasket for the car that the turbo can be found on?

You could if you knew what the turbo was. Just go get a gasket for a turbo eclipse doesn't matter what year. Thats the same gasket i showed you in the link. Its deff not a Chrysler t04 cuz they have a round flange and not a almost square one.
