Need an Inexpensive sub amp

I'm looking for a sub amp for my diamond audio 8" subs. But I'm on a serious budget.

I'm in need of an amp that will push aprox 450 watts (No more, but possibly a little less) at 4 ohms stable.

Can you help me out?
I realize that being on a budget probably means I won't get top quality, but I'm okay with that. I just really need some bass.

I'm looking for prices, and I can make my budget somewhere around that. I mean I'm trying to find out what they cost generally. I've found amps in my price range, but they don't push the wattage I need at 4 ohms.

I'll have to save for it anyway. Probably will take me a week or two before I can buy it. I'm just trying to get some prices for inexpensive amps around that wattage. I'm having a hard time finding them.

if I had to put a price on it, I'd say under $150. But if the cheapest things out there is more, than I can save more.

Where are you located in Fort Worth? My father lives there, and he may even be able to pick it up to save on shipping for me.

What's the quality/reliability on the SSL and the powerbass ASA400.2? I realize probably not great, but just wondering.

SSL is your basic amp like Boss.

PowerBass on the other hand is not. They are new in the market and killing it!! I run it in my car and push it to all my customers because I believe in it. The amps are slick and clean and run true power. You won't be disapointed. Pick up any car audio magazine and you will find something in it (all good) about PowerBass.

I have never bench tested an SSL. But I have never had any complaints about their power either. Its a great cheap alternative. Besides, if you get it and its just horrible, I'll replace it.
