FS: 2001 Ford Focus $2500obo

it's a 01 sedan "extreme" edition. with a 2.0l Zetec and MTX
what makes it extreme some badges and very nice 2-tone leather interior with custom stitching it currently is NOT RUNNING! (see below)

summer is killing me finically so it's gotta go being the only of my cars that doesn't run currently it's the first to go.

it currently has:
-full wings west urethane body kit

-P.I.T cat back exhaust

-Very well made All fiberglass Z3 Fenders (currently unpainted)

-the fore mentioned leather interior that is in amazing condition

-Eibach springs

-Contour SVT 16" rims with BFG KDWS tires (gives the car a great stance)

-factory CD player with good aftermarket speakers (sounds good for a factory deck)

-B&m short shifter

-the alternator has maybe 25 miles on it

-chassis still has under 100,000 miles on it

-the A/c is ICE cold.

-Ebay projector headlights

-ford Racing Carbon fiber tail lights


Now the bad:
-it has a crappy Ebay header

-the paint from the doors forward is in need of some help

-fenders are unpainted

-the alternator recently broke off the motor. (the bolts that hold the alt. mount to the block sheered off)

-the motor has a mystery tick (makes noise but runs fine)
and the tanny is alittle sticky when shifting from time to time. i recently replaced the shift tower in the car and the turret assembly on the tranny which helped a bit

-Currently no airbags in the car it has NEVER been wrecked but they were removed by the previous owner i have a new steering wheel with an airbag and the passenger side airbag but no cover for the passenger side one



ALso Included:
-the fore mentioned airbags

-a set of stock 15" 10 spoke rims pained bronze

-4 struts/shocks with very low milage i had planed on replacing them for the ones on the car now but never got around to it)

-the factory headlights



I'm asking $2500 obo biased on the fact the chassis and the interior is in great shape
i accept cash or check or money order but will not turn over the car till the check clears if paying by check Cash preferred!

it has airbags if you read i just haven't put them back in

and as far as ugly.. thats all a matter of opinion..

basicaly the price is for a solid rolling chassis with under 100k on it. at half of list price it'd be a good start for a project car.

for ppl that know where to look . a new drive train would cost less than $1000 (hell i bought 2 99 ZX2's for their drivetrains for 1000 for both) and save you the headache of tapping out the broken bolts so there you'd have a 01 focus for the price of a older ZX2 and i garentee you wont get a zx2 with that straight of a chassis and that nice of an interior for that price.

Seriously, I've never heard of that.

Was it wrecked? That could explain the alternator, airbags and fiberglass replacement panels, I guess.

I like the color of the car and the interior, that's about it. :D

sell ur car for whatever price you want man personally i wouldn't be interested but that just my personal opinion.

However if u think u can't get a good zx2 for 2500 bucks ur nuts i paid 2700 for mine with 75k on the clock and in pristine condition.

hah me niether i have no clue. it sat with a broken shift turret for like 4 months... i fixed that ..put a new ALt and belt on it. and a new dog bone mount drove it for a week all was good then one night on the way home the Alt. and bracket jsut broke off on the freeway...

hell i bought 2 ZX2s last year for $500 a piece..it's all a matter of what somone is looking for.. and what thier intentions are for it.

yeh it's an odd one... we've torn the motor apart had countless ppl look at it .. and we ahave no clue. i've been driving it like that for almost 3 years. no issues.. jsut sounds like a diesel

and IMO Zetecs always make weird noises i've had 2 mystiques with them 2 different motors in my escort and the focus... they all make weird noises.
