could someone tell me if the 3022 and 3175 are the same bulbs? they both seem to be 31mm/1.25in festoon style bulbs?

Is there a brand of synthetic Mercon ATF?

Also, is there a recommended brand of PS fluid?

My owner's manual says 5W-30 oil but below Canuck mentions 5W-20 is the new suggestion. Is that for improved economy or reducing wear? Is it the same for high mile engines?

Also Ford switched to 5w-20 in like 2000 or something.

Ford switched to 5w-20 so that their corporate fuel mileage would go up. I work at a Ford facility that dynos many Ford engines and it is suggested to run 5w-30 instead of the 5w-20 the gurus in the dyno lab.

1. 5-20 is superb in our cars

2. It's 4.5 LITERS, not qts - about 4.75 qts

3. ATF is not the best for our manual transaxle - use Pennzoil Synchromesh, the new and Expensive Ford Motorcraft Synthetic, Redline MTL, or Amsoil MTF

4. Use G-05 coolant - it is a hybrid of compounds - use the green old style stuff only if you change it every year or so
