I'd say keep looking for more choices....unless you are set on a maxima or something. I say none of the above.

I would go with the 00 Maxima. We discuses the 99 yesterday. The 00 would definitely be the best choice of the 3.

2000 no doubt. Cheaper, and it's not a Monte Carlo.

I would say the 2000 Maxima. The 99 is kinda overpriced. Has lower mileage, but really is too much for a 1999 model. I hate the look of Monte Carlo's, so yeah... The '00 has higher mileage, but out of these 3 choices that's the best deal. If it was for me though, none of the above.

the mileage on that 00 doesnt mean anything tho, they pretty much last til 300,000 with the right maintanance

a vote for the monte carlo is a vote for doing your own sister and drinking *shudders* budweiser. i'd go with the 2000 maxima.

Oh, man, the 00 is a ATX? I still vote for it though, it's in good shape, it's fully loaded, so what if it has 116,000 miles? It will last til 300k+ with proper maintenance. And apparently it has a V6. ;)

I'd take the monte carlo. They last. and the gas milage probably isn't too far off from the v6 3.5 that the maxima's have in them.

Plus it looks a LOT better than a Maxima and is the newest car of the bunch by 4 years.

Get the Redline if you want an ION. I would go with an SC over the ION though.

Quad 4 motors are crap. Diagnosing misfires will lead you in circles. They are high on the list for time consuming repairs.

anything can get to 300k miles if the maintanance is done right, we have a 96/97 villager van original engine, replaced the tranny when bought though in 99 cuz it needed it anyways no probs but the deers hitting the fenders and doors and small cars hitting our tow knob and not hurting a thing on the van only damaging them selfs
i say none of the above
