It's not a big deal. I think it's a good idea. Another forum I go to has a poll section and it is pretty successful.

Whooptido is my choice. It seemed to be more fun when polls were random. Now it just looks like a clogged forum of pointless threads.

Its a good idea in two ways. One it keeps them out of killing time, and gives the posts whores a place to whore it up.
