Well my wife is prego and we already have a 20mth old little girl, and the zx2 just wasn't cutting it. It was hard for her to get my daughter out before she was prego, and even harder now. So she wanted a four door. I told her to deal with it, but of course she wears the pants. :(

We have been looking for quite some time, but we keep running into credit problems. So we talked to her brother who helped us get my wife this new(er) SUV. The deal was to give him the zx2, so we did. We're gonna sign the title over to him. He can't afford any car payments and we can. So he gets a free car outta this. It was a great little car. Had the typical bolt ons, and rims...and he loves it. So yay for us.

The only thing that will suck is the gas mileage, but hey we knew this before we bought it, so we'll just deal with it. Its a nice ride, and one hell of an upgrade from the zx2.

For those of you that don't know its a 2001 Toyota Sequoia. Here is a link to the exact one we now have. I will post pics of it at home when I have the time.

Does it feel underpowered? I've always felt like that's an awfully large vehicle to only have ~240 hp.

Actually it does. I mean it does get up and go...but still you'd think with the v-8 it'd haul atleast some what...but not really.

thats probably due to the differential ratio. My gears on my new 5.4L is 3.55 it'll pull whatever I need it to but doesnt get up and go like my dads nissan titan.

Ehh, not necessarily. My old Silverado ('06 crew cab, with the 5.3) never felt sluggish, and it had a 3.23 rear end. Awesome for highway mileage too. I know what you're saying though; my parents' Explorers (all of them V8s, they're on their 5th one) have felt that way too.

I've driven a Titan before, I think Nissan got rather aggressive with their factory tune.
