Hows this for a lineup!

Our own Crazy34 on the left. I will let him tell the story of how a ZX2 destroyed a modified and smoked a street stock.

first the layout of whats to come.....we started with engines off. they told me and the street stock (middle guy) that we had to make to laps, pull a u turn, get out, eat hamburger, chug bottle of soda, suit back up, get in car, and do 2 laps the opposite way. Heres the problem, they told the modified guy (the one on the right) that it was 3 laps. Well, we started and i got a jump on both of them. It was all the street could do to run with me.....took him a lap and 1/2 to pass me then i about ran over him cause of how slow he was in the corner compared to me(he is first or second in points at our track and is knowen for his speed in that class as well as they run dirt tires, racing suspention, he has a 383 with tons of goodies and a bunch of other things). i got to follow him to pull our u turn when out of no wear, i heard the modified engine running wide open. I had no time to react. next thing i know i am half spun around and i look at turn one to see a mod in peices as well as me. we were both good sports about it cause it was a fundraiser race for circle of hope ( orginization made to raise money from race car drivers and race fans to help children with disabilities). grand total rouphly on my damage was around 75 bucks. toasted a strut and bent my inner tie rod. grand total on him, 1,500 bucks. tore all the suspention and rear end out of his car. Now you see why i like my little 4 cyc. take a beattin and cheap to fix......lol

where do you guys race at? id love to race a zx2, but all the tracks around here I know of have any car with a dohc engine outlawed

Many short tracks have rules that are antiquated. They could just add a weight penalty,for instance.
