I'd honestlly have to REALLY look it over before I made an offer. I just remember seeing that it was lacking in resin because you could see the weave. I could easily sand out most of that texture and clear the hood but that then adds to the final price of the hood.

Is it VIS brand?

Yes thats correct but the they only use a single layer of carbon fiber on the hoods and trunks that they make.If they were completely out of carbon fiber it would be triple the price for them or even more.Formula one is one that i know of that use a complete carbon fiber shell and those cars are easily a million or more.

it would look pretty retarded if they only overlaid the top wouldn't it. Cut it in half and see what it looks like, you'll find it's not carbon fiber.

The front lip is the only thing that is carbon fiber on the underside. Back to just past where the latch goes. The rest of it is fiberglass.
