Temporary Car

Well as some of you may kno, my transmission went out on the ZX2. I bought this two days ago to drive while fixing the Z...Its just a 2.4L 4Cyl. It has no power and i admit it so no bashing on how slow they are, because i do know.

You should have fixed your z instead of buying another car. The price of a tranny is cheaper then another car and car insurance and having to register and get it inspected and all that crap.

i have owned a 2001 grand am se1 2.4l 4cyl auto, 1999 ford escort zx2...
my gf now has the grand am...
i traded the zx2 for a 98 4dr blazer, blah blah.. then a 95 eclipse gs-t.. that i am selling. i now have a 2004 srt-4...
so i know what is fast and slow of those cars, for shizzle.


but yeah, should have gotten the transmission instead.
in all honesty... zx2 parts are cheap, junkyard trans are from 150-500 around here. that is cheap!! now your stuck w/ a pontiac....... arg

Congrats on your temp car. Just drive her and have the zx2 as a backup or fun car...which either one you want it for. Most people don't even have two cars and such a young age you do which is cool.

well today i bought a Gunmetal grey wing for a 08 Mustang GT for $30 for it so that will add a little bit of look to it...Grand ams just dont look right w/o wings...

I like the tuna here, Paul Walker says this right before he has to throw down:flipa:. I am sure I haven't watched this as much as you have, so you will probably know better than I do. You probably remember what they were both wearing and if their shoes matched.

I personally don't like the look of the Grand Am at all. Performance wise, I dunno, never driven one. I like smaller cars, the Grand Am just looks too big.

I agree on getting a temp car since you can't drive your Zx2 right now. If I were you, I would probably have picked up something a little older and cheaper as a temp car, get my other car fixed, sell the old car and get back to my current car. Having to get to work and not having a car is a pain, then I have to rely on my parents to take me...
