The car is finally working pretty well--we've definately found 'the setup'...or at least close. It took us about 5 events and 30 runs to get there. Now it'll just be minor adjustments and learing the limits of the car.

Ryan Krupa, who was in 1st, was in a SpecCivic (car trophied 8th lat year at Nationals, he also was about 30th...and has improved the car and his driving a lot since then). My Co-Driver, Craig, was 4th...a great outing for him. 3rd and 5th was a very well-prepared RS Subaru--also a National car.

If you look at PRO results, we're still a bit off of Jason Frank, but I was on the same second as Craig Mankiewicz, who was 3rd at Nationals last year...

Nicely done! Glad you are getting your car figured out. I got a ways to go with mine.

Just put on S/R struts, fixed a broken rear end link and got an alignment done. But then ended up taking a huge step back in the standings. My first event with this car I took 7th out of 30+ drivers. 2nd event 3rd.
After the recent mods I took 13th! Car felt a lot different and I had trouble getting a clean run it. I like the way it feels, but I haven't been able to translate that into faster times yet.
Here is pic from Sunday's event.

Congrats. I hate how they don't put the car list on the scoring. It's always nice to show people that it's not all about the car.

No new springs? I would think the s/r struts aren't matched very well to the stock springs.
