Deleted my orig post, it's half USPS's fault

Ok I closed the dispute, I just got confirmation numbers from USPS via email. I would still watch yourself ordering from him.

I'll never buy from him. I hear these problems too many times. You should never be 'too busy' to run a quality business. If you are 'too busy', then get out of the business. My two cents on the matter.

Or at least pass on the business to someone else who can do the job, or ask someone to help.

That would work to, but they way its run now is sad and pathetic.

I'll comment on too busy. Yes, from time to time you can get too busy and are unable to keep up with things. But, with rob, he always makes good in the end.
A business owner needs to hire based on his needs. For rob, during periods of time during the year he's not all that busy. During other times, he's running around like a madman. He probably doesn't make the profit needed to support added employees just to work with zxtuner.com He runs a shop as well as selling online.
That in itself can't be easy if both sides are loaded down with orders, work, etc.
During the slow times however, I'd be willing to bet that it works just enough to keep him breaking even.

If I've ever ordered anything that he has in stock he ships it out real fast, I just never order anything that's back-ordered because it takes way too long. That is the case with any company though, but I've never had any problems with Rob.

I never have had a problem with rob, fast shipping on almost everything when there was a problem with my hood he let me know about it.

i've been dealing with Rob for years. no problems whatsoever. occasionally there is a delay on parts he has to back order but once its in stock, it ships fast.
Back in the day(05ish), I could get my parts quick and easy. Now lately it was a struggle. For my hood they lost it and had to get another one made which took nearly 4 months to get. For me to even get ahold of them was nearly imposable as well.

I wish his cotomer service was better. He never replies to emails. I wanan buy a set of axles I asked for downtime.
I've been waiting for three weeks for a udp and belt (or shipping confirmation) that was "In stock". I like how on the site it says MWF but when you call it's Monday thru Thursday. "If" I can ever get in touch I would probably be reassured, but right now I'm not so happy.

happened to me too only with spark plug wires. It said that they were in stock. I waited 3 weeks and Finally, emailed him, nothing, called him, nothing, texted him, and he answered. Got it all sorted out. Something about paypal not working and two days later i got the wires

I can't say that I've ordered from Rob often, but when I have ordered from him I've had no problems.
I got the udp and belt today. Other than the "crappier than Wal-mart" customer service and slow shipping, Zxtuner is a perfect place to get parts. I might even order something else soon, just not something i need fast.

I've ordered parts from Rob's website numerous times and haven't had any problems other than the wait for the parts, and even that wasn't really a big deal.

Ive ordered from the site on 2 different occasions. Both were received in good time but then again i just kinda didnt pay attention once I ordered them. I had ordered a polished billet "zx2" oil cap and received a regular polished billet one with the oil symbol on it but my ex put it o my car not realizing it was the wrong one.

He took a month to ship a shift knob and around 6 months to ship a leather shift boot. He is a gamble.

If you cannot be consistent in business dealings, you should not be in business.
Simple.
It should not be a crap shoot.

Good. He needs to get this resolved.
A company that can be best-contacted through text messages?! That's ridiculous. That's really unprofessional. I don't even use text messages on my phone, so that's probably crap for a lot of customers.
Don't think I'll be ordering anything ever from this guy based on all of the stories I've heard on here.

I agree 100%. Which is why I've never ordered from him, it's not like this is new at all, I've always heard stories like this ever since I first started on these forums like 5 or 6 years ago.

I think rob is doing much us a favor by still carrying any parts for the zx2. By all accounts it makes sense for him to stop carrying any of the zx2 products. There are no other places on the net where you can find as many products for our car as zxtuner.com

I actually got a reply from Rob. Seems my passenger axle has been done for some time.... he's asked for a month to get the inner cup for the drivers side.... I agreed.... so I told him I'll hold off on the DA for a month.

Glad to hear you got ahold of him.. Still horse shit that he couldnt contact you to let you know in an acceptable and professional amount of time when he would be shipping the items out for you. I really hope the deal works out for you.

I recently ordered a part from him, and recieved it the same week, But it did say on his site that it was in stock. I did send him a text to verify that he recieved the order after placing it. Rob has never let me down, so I intend to continue doing business with him.

I ordered a esslinger pulley and belt from him on 9/29/08 and have yet to receive it. Texted him two weeks ago and said he the part is back ordered even though on the website it says in stock. I'm gonna wait two more weeks before i file a claim with american express.
