ZX2 4cyl=1, stupid pickup v8=0. I think it was a Chevy but I'm not sure.....what I am sure of is how funny it was when he punched it as I tried to pass him and I still pulled away (yes, slowly....but still....haha).:) MORE SPEED SCOTTY....

funny thing is the lightning is still the faster truck and easier modded....The srt-10 only took the title from ford when ford decided not to make the lightning any more....

exactally.....it is a shame that there isnt too many "cool" factory trucks any more, like the s-10 xtreme, lightning, ect....ford has the sport trac adreneline and the f-150 fx2 sport.........but not much else

i liked them and the blazer equivalets....roush maes some cool trucks, and saleen had a version of the explorer....i have a friend who has one, but he is scared to take it out too much because you cant get body parts for it.

Outside of Ford I really don't like any American anything.

Lightning > SRT10.

see, the thing you dont know is that im building a 1931 model a ford with a 302 ford v8. and i guess ill play teacher and let you know that dodge is not gm.

not all trucks are slow. I lived in nashville tn for college and seen a guy take a cummins turbo deisel dodge, built it up, and was smokin alot of the camaro's and mustangs. it had a mild lift and slightly larger tires. His daughter was the one that raced it all the time. (hot little blond to boot) you knew when it wanted some cause the sky above it turned black....lmao

There are numerous people around here that have their pickups modded all to hell and think they are race cars.......

I liked the King Ranch editions on the Ford pickups, but if I ever got one I wouldn't be trying to race it. They looked comfy........I used to have a conversion van sorry.

i dont think it was ever a matter of if they were fast or not, more so of how they looked from then and now. the original post is a different matter though.

Yeah he wanted to race a little...I found it funny that his big powerful pickup couldn't catch up. I was already rolling though ....so there was no lag like starting from a stop.

A methanol injected (or propane even) TDI rabbit would be a cool sleeper....if it didn't blow up.

See the thing is. I do know that. I saw the pics long ago my friend.

I just don't like GM.

I too plan on doing a build like yours but not with a truck. And not till I have a house.

deisels are a bit different and they can make over 500rwhp with just a programmer.......

most trucks will lose to a car as they are geared differently, and have more weight.
