Well I figured I have already put too much time and money in it already to just stop now so I figured I would make this worklog so I could atleast watch my own progress on my car.

It all started out around the time I turned 15 or so when my parents and I began discussing a car for me. My dad had his mind set on a certain car and wasn't going to give in, it was obviously a zx2. I ended up getting the car shortly after that. It was an ATX (at the time its what I wanted, plus my mom can't drive stick either) My mom drove it until I got permit, then I drove it, with my parents of course, yay. Then once I got my license it became mine. At this time I didnt care at all about aftermarket or customization or anything.

That was how she looked the day I got her, not a picture from that day but still looked the same haha. The car stayed like that until I for some unkown reason got the itch to do stuff to it over this past winter.

My first mod was an MMI Intake, me and gutters09 both ordered them and put them on without too much problem (amazing intake BTW)

(ignore the extremely dirty engine bay)

Then in the spring I picked up a set of WW Sideskirts and Rear from a member on here, and then a new WW Front off of Ebay. The kit needed painted, and I needed some extra money for it, so I sold off my MMI to zx2guy19 afterpowdercoating it black, who has now sold it to powder haha. So the kit got painted and put it which looked like this

Stock Swirlies FTL.....

After a little while I missed having an intake so I bought a CTA Intake from slick (sorry no pictures yet) along with some Ford Racing Wires (yet to be put on)

So it was like this for awhile while I was trying to find some rims I liked and could afford, and just when I thought that wasn't going to happen, I came across a craigslist add for some, called the guy, and a week later ended up going to pick them up down south a little of Cincinnati. It was worth the trip, I got a REALLY good deal ($200 plus gas it took me to get down there), all except the fact that the tires that were on them were 225/45/17, so yep you guessed it, they rubbed the struts, so the rims and tires sat in my garage for probably about a month while I gathered up the money to buy some new tires.

So once I got enough money I went to firestone, ordered some tires, I was told it would cost me about $270 after mounting and balancing, but apparently there was a misunderstanding because it ended up costing me around $350 but oh well they are on and thats all that matters I guess....

Which is currently how the car is sitting....(Next post will contain future plans)

Well I am focusing more on show than go due to the fact that well, its an ATX so it will never be "fast". I am trying to keep things realistic for now also

Future Plans:
Dropzone Springs for 1.8" drop
S/R Struts
Celica GT Wing
Full 2.25" Exhaust or maybe just a S/R Borla muffer, havent decided yet
Some sort of Header, I will have to see how much money I have and what becomes available
Another MMI Intake - I miss my other one too much, no comparison from any other intake I dont think
Aftermarket CD Player of some sort- Can't stand the stock 6 disc
Probably some other random small things I cant think of right now

Waiting to be put on:
Ford Racing Wires (Red)
Custom Powdercoated Valve Cover (currently being finished)
OEM Radiator Brackets (had to be sent back and haven't gotten my second set yet)

I would personally lower it first (glad u know ur atx wont ever be fast, lol) and then get a glass pack with the stock exhaust. I have stock pipes and a glass pack and i love it because 1) cheap as hell 2)smaller pipe coming off it so it doesnt look ricey 3) really nice deep sound, not too much louder than stock
Good luck and keep us updated!!

Lookin fresh man, real nice. Love the rims too. Lower that bitch. If you have extra money, $300 I think it was, DOUGIESTYL has a full mtx swap here in Columbus.

Thanks guys, I dont plan on dropping it until next spring, just one less winter to worry about running through snow drifts haha

I dont really plan on doing an MTX swap, I dont really see it as being worth all the time and money, because im not too worried about my performance with this car

Got my Radiator Brackets on finally, took some work and drilling new holes but I did find out that the right side bracket had bolts and the left side had screws? Very strange haha, so I just drilled four new holes, and got new bolts, I will try to get some pictures of them up later

S/R Borla

Eibachs and Tokicos off an S/R, I was told they have only 55,000 miles on them, they look pretty good to me other than the surface rust, but thats a given

Also my valve cover is finished:

Stock exhaust was a HUGE pain to get off....

Picture of the Rad Brackets finally....(they didnt fit so I had to drill new holes)

While I was in the shop doing my exhaust it started snowing and that meant winter rims/tires...

It looks so sad, but it got back at me by having my battery die, so I had to replace that too I while I was in the shop haha

And here is a pic of the still not cleaned, but updated (other than new battery I think) engine bay...
