I just put the one Protege seat in to see how it looks. I like to call it "The Fat Mans Recaros." They dont let you move like the stocks, kinda like the recaros, but still have the comfort of the stock seats. I am gonna get another one and have them reupholstered and im thinking of getting MX3 rails/brackets to make them lower. what you guys think?

I like the headrest shape but that's about it.

Your leather ZX2 seats look a LOT better.

If you do go with them for comfort reasons, definitely re-up and lose that purple.

definitely recover those seats. If you go with the mazda seat brackets, let us know right away if they lower the seats (darn leather seats create a high seating position compared to the cloth).

i like my leathers but i dont like he lack of support and how i slide in the seat. they would definatly be recovered.

x2 some people have no style. leather would be nice to keep if u want to go back to stock and to make the value higher but to use as racing that just would be stupid looking. just go though a big pull and pay and find new celicas im sure a few pull it ur self junkyards have new 2000+ celica gt's

i been thinking of picking them up and washing them then reselling for what i payed + the gas that i use to go out there and for pulling them. the junk yard i got to stack cars and are hella hard to get stuff out of. they had some leather seats just like mine there last weekend i wanted to pick up but lack of cash

well i mean the seat COVER could be SOMEONE ELSES. i guess i have to be thankfull i have good friends that give me a free seat cover since mine had a hole from nasty cigs. ty4loot

The only thing about leathers is imo they sit a little higher then cloths. I'm 6'5 and dont' do too well with that.

well i think Ive mad my mind up. after sitting in the recaro drivers seat in mellows car, those fit my height better. plus the sunroof in my car doesn't help.

How do these compare to MX3 seats? Better, worse, same? Lower ride height?
