Straight up, are they fine for 300whp or a maybe a bit more? I KNOW CROWER IS BETTER, it is also twice the price. I can not afford Crower or I would. I know Eagle isn't shit, they are fine as far as I know but I'm just making sure that for $285 brand new shipped with ARP connecting rods I will be fine.
With JE pistons
Eagle Rods
ARP bolts
SVT head gasket
PnP head
Pnp Mani
58mm Bored TB
I should be fine for 300whp, right?

If you have forged internals, I guess you would be fine... But I don't know much.

Your rods will be your weakest point. I think they will hold but there is just a toss up with them. When you get them in the mail make sure you inspect them and if there are any noticable flaws exchange that rod immediately. I think the setup will def. hold 300whp I just know Eagles arn't ideal, but hey they are cheap performance rods. I'd say go with it. Watch your air fuel ratios, Don't overrev and fucking drive the hell out of it. If it blows, well shit happens.

For 300 whp they will be fine. The whole appeal of Eagle is that their parts are a decent middle ground between stock and "cream of the crop" pieces.

I am not sure why anyone puts Eagle rods down.
Jon Fastrax lays down 462whp on his Eagle rods. Many other focus guys are above 400 whp on these rods.
Crower is waste of money if your not going for 500+ whp, imo. It's funny how people spend $600 on rods then cheap out $150 on Probe pistons and end up with this.

Alright sweet. If I do end up upping the boost, I will be doing an mtx-75 swap in which case I'll go with crower rods.

not to thread jack but maybe reconsider the use of a PnP mani on a boosted setup. porting the stock manifold will weaken it and if ur goin for big numbers such as 300+ Whp ur gonna need alot of boost. hopefully it wont blow out. but i personnally wouldnt do it.

ummmmm. there isn't that much material that comes off when porting the intake. it's completely negligable.

Our stock manifold is good until 30psi.

The stock manifold IF ported correctly it will hold more then you can put into it . Check out the backfire valve at the bottom side of the plenum , thats why the manifold won't blow-up.

T3. I know, I know. It will be 20psi though. That should be about 300whp.

oh my mistake. thought with jb welding the injector lumps and removing them could cause some weak spots. guess i dont know what im talkin about. lol.

Any more details on the T3? Was it a OEM turbo off of somthing or is it a new ebay turbo? Trim?

J-B Weld is the last thing you want to use to modify the manifold . For the runner and plenum work to be done , J-B is not the best choice .
