wtb mtx near Michigan

just sold my 98 z a few months ago. i want a mtx, it was a atx. anyone got one that has a great motor and trans. the body doesn't have to be perfect by any means. milage is a factor. anywhere lower then 5K will do. can be modded or stock. the only thing i care about is the motor and trans.

yeah. believe it or not we live right by each other. the motor is a little too old for my liking. it is a nice car though.

Thanks brad, Well its up for sale. really ill take 2,300 if i got the offer and would LOVE to see it going to another member of the site. You can search my post i'm never posting threads about problems. The car runs and drives great, and there is little rust, seeing as it was a flordia car.

Truckkid, I have a motor with 100k miles in Columbus, OH for $300 if you just want to swap them out. It wouldn't matter to me if it had 500k miles. If it runs great, it runs great.

i agree. i've done a motor swap in my old z. where it is possiable. i just don't have the will or the time to do it again. it sounds stupid, but i'm lookin for a z that i can drive in the winter in 5 inches of snow, and his car is too low, we've talked about it before. i need something i can return to semi stock if need be.

Brads gotta solid motor, and its not to much trouble dropping in the same motor. But really i dont think this engine is going to die soon....
