Well, I have heard about the shifter falling through the floor on other cars. I went to install my new B&M and something was wrong.. I went to set it into place from the inside and it went straight to the exhaust. Not happy, Is there any better way to fix it other then the whole bar? I have a screw holding it up right now it's holding tight but am unsure for how long it will hold.

Well, The screw fell along with the bar this time while driving down the road. Next Step I am going to try a bolt and a nut through the floor and try that.

i had the same issue and super glued the shifter in. It's been working for the past 3 months!

How did you use superglue? Which pieces are glued together?

I took out the center console. And i glued the rubber piece to the metal. Then yank up on the shifter and hope for the best. I used the loctite super glue stuff. I was surprised it held. Let it cure for a couple of hours.

Or you could use JB weld. Might work.

JB weld is specific for metal to metal or such. I'd if they have an all bond.
