Being the Honda guy that I am...I don't see whats funny about it...but I guess if your one of those only love the ZX2 guys...then I guess you'd laugh.
That car isn't the best looking Honda....but has potential....

i don't think it's bad either. it looks lowered, so it could easily be someone's play car.

Funny the only way those cars ever become something is by swapping everything out of it.

I'm not a zx2 guy, I'm an american muscle car guy who laughs at all silly rice vehicles. Yeah, that car is def not the worse looking thing, but I'm sure a few more months working at Giant and it will be.
I laughed mainly cuz the car has obvious problems but rims and tires were put on instead.

another puerto rican disaster. :monkeybutt:
It's the equivalent of the modern day honda fit. And with gas prices the way they are we would all be jealous of the 40+mpg that it gets.
Oh so you just laughed at the rust...hmm...its a car that is probably a dd for the owner, who probably works at the store in the bg...so I'd say for a 20year old car it looks nice. :)

I don't even understand these pictures that you are posting. Yeah, a honda with rims. Trust me when you live in the city people put rims on everything. Most of the time the rims cost more then the car. So I'm sorry. But your post = Fail. Have a nice day.
For your benefit maybe you have never seen that before.

Seems this thread is 50/50 with people's opinions. I don't care what you guys say, I'm old enough to not get in a internet hissy fit. Yeah, city people put rims on anything, you can do that when your Section 8 and have the Government pay for the bulk of your rent. Taking hub caps off, for that black rim look? Car looks worse almost every time. Keep the hubcaps on til you get money.
I found that car amusing, lack of judgment when it comes to money spent.

side note: clean steelies look better than hubcaps.

To me I see someone who wants to have wannabie black rims. Only way I could see it being ok is if you lost one or the ones that were on it were broke.
I would imagine each town has a place like this

Story time.
I know a 55 y/o guy that's got more money than everyone on this forum combined. He retired at 50. He drives a Honda Civic hatch around with 17" SSR's that cost 450/rim. The tires are BFGoodrich gforce t/a KDW2's at 140/tire. The car has 265k on the clock. The rims and tires are worth more than his car.
So who are you to judge again?

You know, I don't need stories. That car was a Giant employee, how I knw this? Cuz it's where all the employee's park.
I don't need stories on how some people apear poor but are rich. I work at my 2nd job for an older guy, 56years old. I do body work out of his 2 bay garage. We do about 8-14 cars a week between Him, his brother, son-in-law and me. Last year he made 100K just in his shop, not counting he has a full time job at a dealership on flat rate pay. Looking at the guy, he looks like he should go home to a trailer. However, he drive a G35X, has a 33 Street Rod, Old Nova that's been in magazines, and a Old Ford truck that's done up.
Everybody knows a story like that

Well, you don't know the guy's situation. I fail to see how it's rice, sorry. Maybe he got a screamin deal on the rims and tires used. Maybe you should go ask him to clarify our argument.

Maybe, he wasn't around. I guess if i see the guy there I'll ask him and bring this topic back to life with more info. I'll ask my buddy what he knows about it. He works at night stocking shelves. Maybe he knows of the kid.
