Well the ATX Shifter and surrounding area looks awful as im sure everyone knows, and I don't plan on MTX swapping anytime soon, so what is out there to improve this, if anyone has any ideas or things they have done let me know, I hate how it looks haha

I modded my ATX shifter, but it was a bit of a pain. None of the brands you can find at Pepboys or Auto Zone fit, the diameter on the shaft is too wide. I found an aluminum one and luckily a pal of mine's dad owns a machine shop. He widened it a bit, then bore mount points into the shifter's shaft for the screws. I'll get pics when I get home tonight.

i posted a pic of my set up, in the for sale section, i completly tore out the PRNDDL light up pad and replaced it with a boot holder from a mtx then i attatched a boot and got a shift knob and wala, it looks like a mtx but look closly it has a button and no clutch pedal

On the shifter topic- I have an MTX one on my ATX. You have to push down on the whole knob to shift it. It's fun watching other people try to shift it.

Granted it's only my opinion, but I think the stock ATX shifter area looks a lot better than the stock MTX shifter area. I hate that boot...
