Hello i'm Mike an i just crossed over from Hondas, 2 Eclipes, 2 mini trucks, an now to ZX2's. i'm located in the southern part of IL an i'm looking to find people that are near me or in the STL area. I've only had my car for 6 months an really just started driving it an i'm having all types of problems so if you can give me a had hit me up!

thanx, i'm from FL an there are race shops every where but i'm having a hell of a time finding thing here. i see thousands of these cars, theres even 2 of them on my street. if you have any time please help out a fellow racer.

yeah, i miss FL too...i lived in Boca for a year, and Cocoa Beach for two. if you need help with your car, i'm only 2.5-3 hours away. next year i'll be possibly hitting up some STL autoX races at Gateway Int'l Speedway on the IL side. i'll let you know, and you can take some rides in the car, and maybe get you hooked on autoX.

? ok i have a noise coming from the cam side of my engine an when i rev up it goes away. any clue what that might be?

ummmm...like a minor ticking?...might be your injectors almost all of em are loud

Pull the cam cover and check the timing belt.

cover is already pulled an its coming from that area but what is it? the belt, pulley, or what?

Hey raven, Just curious, is your Z pretty noticable? Just curious cause I live in Jackson. Just wondering if I've seen you around.

well its midnight blue and i worked at pro lube so probably have seen me. do you drive a silver z by chance. has most of a body kit? if so i have seen you around if not then i may have seen you in passing.

Nah, mine is still pretty much stock. It's kind of a pewter/silver/beats the hell outta me color. I have and APC banner across the windshield. I used to be delivery driver for Mazzio's before they closed. Not sure if that helps or not. There is also another Z that runs around Jackson that is Black with a wings west kit I think. Looks pretty tight.

yeah man have you seen the silver z with the unpainted body kit? it was broke down the other day off the interstate. yeah i live in jackson to now on deerwood drive. if you want i can meet tonight and we can bull sh*t about the z's ill let you poke around in my engine bay and explain some things to you. hit me up with a pm sometime and i will give you my number.

Sounds great. And yeah, I saw the Z on the interstate too. They seem to have a lot of probs with that car. That's not the first time I've seen it broke down. And i used to like that body kit until I saw one up close. Not a fan of it anymore.
