Totaled my zx2

Someone rear ended me and the damages are over 5,000 dollars. I want to know how much the person at fault insurance company will pay for my car. It's a 1998 zx2 atx with 148,xxx miles on it.

your easiest way to find out what they will give you is go onto auto trader and do a search in your area for your car with the options you got and thats what they will give you.

The usually go by "street value" of the car- what it would cost to replace the car with one from a lot. With a 98 ATX over 100k miles- the answer is probably "not much."

f those bastards for not paying attention. I had this happen once to a nissan sentra. When the insurance totalled the car, I bitched them out saying now I was out of a car and the money they were giving me was not going to be enough to buy another one. After the bitching, they ended up giving me the money and letting me keep the car. Hopefully your situation goes even smoother than that and they give you money without all the drama.

It's stupid and unfortunate, but that's how insurance companies work.

Best bet is to see of they'll let you into the yard to strip as much off as you can before the claim is finalized (take bald tires and steelies) or buy it back and get the parts that way.

Paintwork is lost money.

I hope this happens to me in my bronco kbb is like 4k lol I got it for 1000. And then buy a newer one :-) because allmost no one wants a bronco. Na never mind I would have to get hit realy hard to do 4k in damage one big ass rear bumper
