Is that for one or both mounts?
I refuse to go through zxtuner and spend 17bucks for shipping. I'd rather go summit or jegs and get the part in 2 days.
thx

pictures would be nice. call them and ask if there are 2 peices or 4. a full set has 4 peices...one insert for each side, of the front and back lower transaxle mounts.

motor mount inserts aren't that hard..they slip right in. LCA inserts, however....

they slip right in but when you try to actually put them on the mounts they are a really tight squeeze.
what are lca inserts?

The rear transverse MM is tough to put in. Just the way you have to get to it.

Moter mounts don't scare me. Not when I have a lift, air tools, and a shop full of tools at my disposal. Makes life easier. Will call them on my lunch and see what they say.

Well I ordered the set. The guy said it had both mounts. Bad news is it's on backorder til 9/15 so I have some time til I get them. So until then, I'll do end links, front struts and maybe tranny flush with good stuff this time.

They aren't motor mount inserts. They are transmission mount inserts. We only have one motor mount, the other three are on the tranny, noobs. lol

Well then there are a lot of people who have this wrong. Better start sending out e-mails and memos to them.

they are listed as motor mounts, douche.
plus, it's an engine...unless yours turns electromotive force into mechanical force...then maybe you have a motor

I use motor oil in motorcycles.
Anyway, even if you have a lift and tools, try the front insert alone for a week or so. If it is all you need, stop there, because of the vibration that you will get from having the rear one in also.
Shifting, wheel hop, throttle control, will be improved. Vibration will be worse. Not bad, but worse.
To get another 50 RPMs at idle [which helps smoothness and loss of alternator output from a UDP], short the Power steering pressure switch, which normally gives a RPM boost when turning hard at idle. Accessible behind the engine, under the water reservoir.
Rob at zxtuner clued me in about this years ago, but I forget which wires were which color.

Ok, when I get the mounts next month I will put the front in 1st and drive. I'm waiting for powder to sell a UDP, ODP, Belt kit. Then I'll buy that. Until then I'm getting new SR front struts for $35 each and end links. Hopping those will get rid of a few clunks.

The ZX2 is listed as an 'interference' engine in every shop manual published. That doesn't make it right, now does it?

So do racers wear 'Safety Helmets', or 'Crash Helmets'?

brain buckets.
and i only called you douche in fun because you always seem to show up and get on someone's case about semantics...so figured i'd fire back, since we have engines, not motors (as main propulsion).
