2003 Ford Focus ZX3

Yeah after 6 years I'm one of the non-zx2 owners. I bought a 2003 Focus ZX3 and sold my ZX2 with 151K miles on it for $1500. It's finally starting to grow on me. Where are the other Focus owners on here? We need to talk. How can a car with the same motor as the ZX2 be so slow? Not to mention I bought an automatic haha. New stereo stuff is on the way though so that will make me happy. I bought a K&N and clear side turn signals also. I don't want to do too much to the car since I think I have outgrown the needing a super fast car. It does need just a little kick in the ass though.

im not into the focus i mean the are ok i looked at getting one then foiund my zx2 i wanted a hatchback blue with the aluminum rims on it but i herd taht they were slow and heavy as hell.but yet not a bad car the zx2 isnt all teribly taht fast though either fast enought the zx2 with the right mods can hall ass i got a friend with a honda delsol who swears up n down he can beat me cause he has a 5speed and its a honda i kicked his ass last saturday at the staton drag way quarter mile he had me ofthe line andt hats iti cuaghts up.lol zx2 focus shit to be tehre just a grown up zx2.

Your FoFo seems so slow because 1. It's an autotragic and 2. It's a heavy MoFo compared to you ZX2. Your K&N is a right step into giving it a little more pep, but I'd go with a cat-back as well. One from MBRP can be had for less than $300 shipped to you door.

All I have to say is....302 with a T56 tranny on a Ford 9inch in it ;). They sell the swaps for you so it makes it easier.
