I have about 200 movies in my collection, many listed here, quite a few from the BBC plus shows and sporting events I recorded from didital TV. Some of the more intersting items in my collection are:
Highlander (just because...)
Blade Runner
Jeeves and Wooster (8 DVD, 20 episode set of P.D. Wodehouse starring young Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie)
The Lake House (2006 movie with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock about a couple who are communicating across 2 years of time and trying to meet.)
SuperBowl 42 (2 DVD set, Giants 17 Patriots 14. I keep this around for all the Patriots fans I work with who crowned them champs and celebrated the 19-0 season before the game. Reality hurts...)
...plus Star Trek: Generations for no other reason than Kirk finally dying.

Scary Movie 1 and 2
Friday Night Lights (even though it didn't stay true to history)
Pulp Fiction
Planet of the Apes (original with Charleton Heston)
Debbie does Dallas <- that's right, I said it
The DeathStalker
Army of Darkness
Space Balls
The Jerk
StarShip Troopers
Cheech and Chong: Up in Smoke, Still Smokin
I could go on and on, too many to remember and list.

I don't get all the hype about A Clockwork Orange. I've watched it a couple times and personally I think it sucks. House of 1000 Corpses was great up until the end, the whole Dr. Satan thing was pretty ghey. Devil's Rejects was cool as hell.

I think the hype is that it is completely screwed up movie. I mean he rapes a chick while singing "Singing in the rain".I mean whoever thought of that movie just wasnt right. I thought devils rejects wasnt as good as house of 1000 corpses, but to each his own.

A lot of these were already mentioned, but here's some of my list in no order.
Bourne Series (Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum)
Se7en
Oceans 11
The Italian Job
Die Hard 1, 2, and 3 (Live Free, Die Hard was crap)
Rush Hour 1, 2 and 3
The old Pink Panther movies (w/ Peter Sellers, except Trail of the...)
Elephant (interesting film from independent filmmaker, could get boring, but i like how it's made)
Matchstick Men
Gone in 60 Seconds
No Country For Old Men
Collateral
Phone Booth (awesome action film that's not so well known)
Insomnia
Hostage
Kill Bill Vol 1 (haven't seen Vol 2 yet)
The Brave One
Shoot 'Em Up
The Godfather
Into the Wild
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (weird, but kinda funny)
And there's more, mostly action movies I like.
I've seen about 3 or 4 Mel Brooks films and so far haven't really liked them too much (including Spaceballs, not that great of a movie). Haven't seen Blazing Saddles, but will eventually just to see it, I won't be prepared to be impressed or anything...
There's a lot more I want to watch because they were recommended or got good reviews, but just haven't seen them yet.

Nobody said it yet, but Green Mile! It's as close of a rendition to the book as you can get. I read the book long before the movie, and the black actor was EXACTLY what I envisioned when I read the book. None of the trivial stuff from the book was deleted in filming. Stephen King is an awesome author, but this is one of his best movies!

Never saw Hostile but i did see Devils Rejects. That had more graphic up close violence, but the body count and still very graphic deaths was insanely high in Rambo. There mustve been a good 400 people killed and not just in a shot and fall down kind of way.
