So the wife and I were coming back from the pet store. I was in the turning lane for state road 32. When turning onto this part of SR 32, there are two lanes for about 1000 feet. While waiting for the light a 2000ish Mustang GT pulls up behind me. I hear him because it has straight pipes. I look at my wife and say, "I bet he tries to pass me when we turn." The arrow comes on and I take off normal. I shift to 2nd at 25mph and hold my speed. I check my mirror and he is already on it, comes around the corner sideways. I wait for him to straighten out and I floor it. He starts out at my rear fender. I start to pull on him topping out 2nd. I'm a car ahead and shift to 3rd and I let off a bit (we are going the speed limit now) because I think he is done. He never let off and starts to pull on me again. So I gun it again, doesn't take long for the boost to build, I'm right in the sweet spot. I start to pull again and this time I put two cars on him by 75 mph. His lane ends and he gets behind me. We both slow down the 55 mph speed limit. Before we get to the next light he is moving side to side trying to get a good look at the car. The next light has a turning lane. I know he wants to talk so I slow down a bit sooner so he has room to get next to me in the turning lane. The light is red so we both stop. The first thing he says is, "WHAT THE FUCK??!!" "What did you do to that thing?" I say, "What do you mean, it is only an Escort." He says, "I know, that is what is so wrong about it." I told him it was boosted and he says, "That is cool. I didn't know that was going to happen. Very sleeper because you don't have any of that shit done to the outside of it." By now the light is green and there is traffic moving up behind us. I didn't get to ask if he had anything else done to the car besides the obvious exhaust and altezza tails. Maybe I'll see him again and find out. My wife was pretty excited about it too. She likes the racing and the reaction of people when the Little Green Monster puts them behind it.

Oh, this is with two big exhaust leaks. The welds on my #1 and #3 primaries are cracked and the leak is loud.

Yeah. Because we all mount our turbos on the driver's fender.

Good kill. I know when I matched up against a sleeper Civic in my old GT and got whoop, I went WTF.

He was talking about wings and body kits. Hmm, turbo on the fender, that would be awesome.

I want the SVT body kit. I bet that car got shredded when old dumb Bill Ford seen what it would do to a Mustang GT.

Better yet, I want the ZX2NR concept car. I wonder where that thing is now?

I had the pleasure of seeing it and touching it when it was at the Chicago Auto Show years ago.

wait 10 years from now and it will be up for auction, like many of fords concept cars that never see production, however good luck geting a title for it, as there is no sereal number on the car (that is if it isnt crushed by now)
