I am looking at putting a chery bomb / glass pack, on my car. I dont want to blow out people eardrums but i want to give the car a little better sound. Is it worth putting one on or do they make the cars sound like the rice rocket honda's? My parents drive my car once in a while so i dont want them being pulled over by the cops if it is too loud.

The Cherry bombs that i have also seen only come in 2" piping, are we able to get a peice of pipe that changes our exhaust size up to 2" so we can use the glass pack

Thanks for the info.

Get a catback, first. I got a cherrybomb in my 2.25" exh. (between the Kami and Magnaflow. I LOOOOVE the sound! I had the best sounding exhaust at loon's meet. Except for the 428 Cobra and Shelby, that showed up from svtoa!
If you're just trying to start modding, maybe learn to save some money to put toward better mods.
Sound is a matter of opinion (good/bad) as far as exhaust goes. Ideally I'd like mine to be SILENT.

I have mine on stock piping, and it's not too loud at all. It's got a nice low tone to it.

Here's a vid, the audio gets fucked up around 5k rpms, and this is before the Iceman, which made it sound 5x better.

i've got a 24" glasspack on stock pipe too, sounds great, nice deep, no rasp, quite at cruising speeds, and can let out a bark when you push the go pedal.

A straight through type muffler will flow better than our stock cork. It is worth doing on a stock system - low bucks for decent improvement.
For the best sound - get the biggest diameter and length that will fit. This will deepen and quiet the tone.

How many miles...its hard to resist the itch to keep modding once you start

The car has roughly 150 000 km on it... but because of living in Canada the rocker panels are gone on the car and i dont know if i want to spend the 1500 to get someone else to do it, i dont know how.... I am looking at the car lasting 1 year or 3 years as I put on roughly 3000 km a month, going to school and work... Just want something cheap but to spaz up the car that little bit... car still looks good other then that...

I am going to put on a T-60 series Flowmaster on mine. I put one on my 2.5L Ranger and it's sounds sweet. I was also looking into the Flowtech Raptor. Not sure yet.
