Where can I move the ground on the negative battery cable to? The battery I got, which is supposed to fit, has the terminals on reversed so I have to turn the battery 180 to get them on the right sides. Then, the negative cable won't reach. Help?

There are extension wires you can buy...
Or, return the battery LOL.

when my battery was in the trunk, i just grounded it to some body metal back there. I just sanded to bare metal, drilled a hole, and bolted it down. I'm assuming you could do the same in the engine bay... Or get a longer wire and splice it together?

I just remembered I had some wire left over from when I used to RC race.. so I am going to do that. I thought all I had was really tiny wire. We're good though. Extension it is!
Pink wire though. :/

I think the ground leads to the transmission, i think you can free up some slack. I don't have a stock sized ZX2 battery either. I actually have a smaller battery with the bolt terminals instead of studs. ( the battery was a freebie!)

Ground extended, and I made an intake out of a focus tube and a third gen escort tube/airbox.
She runs. Mwauhahahah.
Such a cob job. :/ I'll fix it in time.

If you follow the ground cable to the frame (only about 10") where it bolts to the firewall, you can ground the bastard box there. I had mine that way for awhile.

Look for a spot on the engine block or trans. Run extra wires to the firewall or other body panels if you like.
