There's nothing wrong with building a Revver. Many V8 drag racers are forced to rev to 8,000 because of class limitations.
The difference is, make sure the stuff your running can handle it. The way it sounded, the engine was built to handle it, but the clutch manufacture obviously wasn't selling or wasn't testing its products to those types of applications.

Nope, not at all. A car that CAN handle high revs is not a bad thing, but having one that MUST rev high to move is crap.
Ex: Yo, V-tec didn't kick in yet, yo!
