Transmission Fits

Ok.. soo.. My 3rd gear is starting to kick out... and im figureing that I should just get a new tranny while im at it.. so the the down time wont be too long..

I know we have the weak mazda tranny.. but what would fit, and be strong? especially since im looking at re building the engine all bored out and turbo'd?

Not many options for our trannys.
A good rebuild, with maybe a Phantom Grip positraction unit.
Use a good fluid instead of ATF, also.
Amsoil MTF, Redline MTL or the thicker MT90, or GM or Pennzoil Synchromesh.
The most important thing is to drive it sanely.
I can puke a trans in a day, easy. Anybody's trans.
