Which UDP?
An Essy takes a 83.5" X6 belt.
An ODP usually doesn't require belt adjustments.

probably the essy i think i might can get a better if i buy the belt seprately at my autoparts store, i heard one time that if you but the essy and the odp you use the stock size belt right??

I dont think so. If that were the case then you would be defeating the purpose of a UDP. There is ALOT of play in the auto tensioner, I wouldnt be worried about it.

ESSY can not use a stock belt - it needs a shorter one.

you dont use a shorter belt. just wanting to know what size i need for both setups before i buy anything..

As far as I know, an alternator ODP does not require a change in any belt size.
so what belt size for powder pulley, no odp yet where might the tension pulley be, the book i got shows a 2.0 dohc but not listed as zetec or vct?

81.75 or 82" if you have a powder udp without a odp.
