They can be ordered with an offset
This install shows the caster altering bushings available through SuperProŽ. Part Number# SPF1634K
SuperProŽ Also offers regular non-caster adjusting bushings which have the tube sleeve centered VS offset.
The non-caster adjusting bushings are a single piece bushing & sleeve design per side. 2 bushings & 2 tubes total.
Part Number#SPF0953-80K for sport series & SPF0953-70K for comfort series
These are easily installed by greasing & pressing in with your hands or a bench vice.
I highly Reccomend the caster adjusting bushings over the non.

Late model BG & EC (323/protege/escort/tracer/mx3) chassis vehicles had an increased diameter bushing from 35 to 46mm
Part Numbers are as follows but may be in research & development.

SPF2415K Standard alignment (shell part) "46mm outer diameter bushing"
SPF2417K Double offset (shell part) "46mm outer diameter bushing"

To first state my rear bracket already had Energy Suspension Poly bushings in them, which truely made it more difficult to remove then a factory bushing/sleeve.

For Those who have factory bushings a rubber mallet w/ a socket will suffice to pound the factory bushings out.
To secure the bracket make sure to support it without making it out of round.... I.E. do not tighten it in a vice. then proceed to pound the old bushing out of the bracket.

For Those with poly bushings currently you must pound the inner tube free from the bushing before pressing/prying the bushing itself out of the bracket.
For this i reused an old tube sleeve from another application.

After removing the old bushings find a file or abrasive stone(pictured here) to sand or file away any rust build up that may negatively effect bushing life.
Make sure to always regrease all metal to bushing contact area's

For the Caster adjusting bushings simply replace the bracket & bushing into the vice & proceed to press the combination into the bracket itself. Following the instructions included in packaging. Placing the alignment of the sleeve tube towards the outside of the bushing bracket, which in turn faces the outside of the car.

Once installed proceed to ReFit onto your Lower Control Arms & install in reverse order of removal from the car.

Is there gonna be any problems with alignment adjustment after installing these?

Any improvemnt overe the ES control arm bushings?

I was going to put in Sperical bearings in my control arms

I have the offset bushings on my SR for a little more caster. The install was fairly easy.
Anytime you change a front suspension part an alignment is in order. The bushing does increase the caster and a little camber

SPF2415K Standard alignment (shell part) "46mm outer diameter bushing"

These are for later model bg chasis with no offset (zx2 and escorts)

Thanks.
But it looks like the actual bearing surface is metal to metal. The bolt to the metal bushing, and the control arm stub to the metal bushing.
Or does the blue bushing rotate against the outer sleeve?
How can we get grease in there?

The inner bushing is seperated from the outer bushing by poly. No need for grease.
The small amount of movent is absorbed by the poly bushing. Same as stock.

so this route is better than Es bushings?

The advantage is using the offset bushing to increase caster. Which is a good thing.
