1st bodykit (shogun kit) with blue underbody neons, and a cheap system, angel eyes, atx shifter, shogun/invader spoiler, lambo doors, weapon r intake. blue spark plug wires, struts bar, strobe lights. Shaved as well


3rd Chapter:
well the car was hit by a deer. and messed it up badly.

The entire front end needs to be replaced and the passenger side door. Months before the wreck i sold the rear shogun bumper for evo2 rear. After the wreck i started buy parts, evo2 front, a carbon invader hood, chrome tails, 17" rims, a bigger system, z3 fenders, in-dash screen and see-though control knobs for the metra faceplate.


Now the rebuild:
Ok so now to where we are today, the plan for the car is different. Instead of staying with blue im going with black and a chameleon green with metal fake..lots of it. wish i can get diamond dust but that shit is too expensive anymore. I taken the underbody neons off, shaved the spoiler, slowly fixing the front. Bought celica seats to replace the S/R seats. Put the new rear bumper on. How it looks so far.

Well i have a stock bumper outside and i have a maserati bumper im trying to sell(new bumpers are 2g's+), i have 2 L.E.D light bars cut out, honda civic fenders. my back yard is filling up with parts. Then my van, its filled with my zx2 interior parts from the seats to the carpet and spare tire.

I still need another set of comp speakers and my audio will be finished. I'm hopefully going to finish my rear this weekend, next weekend i'm going to have to go out and find me a core support. ill post photos of the rear when its done.

Well while i was out today thinking of something i could do to offset my car from everyones else's one here and i got it, i came up with something no one else has done on this site or any car for that matter. :partynanas: I'm not going release any detail of it at this time though. The only way you guys will know is when i'm done and photos are up.

btw from entire front end is 100 bucks, going next weekend to cut me a front clip off from the pull and pay. just need head lights and a windshield and ill have all the parts.

halos came from pepboys in the neons section. they will have jap writing on it, in a blue box. you can change the color from blue to whatever you want just change the L.E.D on the end/s of them

What can shift quicker than a computer...I have an auto, I love driving sticks...but it's exactly what you said, work with what you got. That G35 owner is just trying to show off. You know what, I traded my ZX2 in for a nice Acura CL type S and cried the whole way home. When that transmission broke a couple days later I couldn't have been happier to get my Automatic four cylinder 130hp car back, it was like being reunited with a best friend after ten years. I wouldn't trade my car in for a G35 or anything else for that matter, never again.

Well got it welded in today, caught the frame where the bumper support hooks to on fire lol. It cleaned it really nice, its dirty right now but after the car is done i'm gonna power wash the engine bay. So far it's been easy to rebuild. tomorrow morning i'm going to a junk yard for a few things. Gonna get a wiring harness for the lights on passenger side, a stock front bumper to cut and mold the evo to because the fiberglass is fucked up and wont bolt up like it is(to wide and some other reasons) might pick up a set of headlights if i find clean ones.

i cut the top off the stock bumper and the bottom of the evo bumper and molded them together. the only thing left to do is wipe the inners and add my scoop again

ok well the front is done. there some lines that need to be fixed and some spots need to be filled and sanded before paint but other then that its done. I'm hoping that during the week i can get the sideskirts fixed and finished in primer so that i can get the rear bumper molded on. i only get enough time to do one thing due to my family always wanting to get together blah!

the fenders are stock with the z3 flares molded in them. they look better this way then on the fiberglass after market fenders

lol thanks i'm still learning though, might not look different but after sanding it and everything it looks better, i wish the primer was black but the red shows the detail better though. the lines for the flares need to be straighter though i'm not happy with them yet lol. this weekend if nothing comes up i'll have the side skirts redone and the rear bumper molded on. im happy with the route i taken. if i stayed with the fiberglass fenders and front nothing would up lined up right, this way it all fits like stock and i can take it apart if i have to with no problems.

You sure it wasn't a moose that looked like a deer? That's some bad damage for a deer at 30mph...I don't guess that deer lived? A deer hit my driver's side fender when I was going about 35-40mph (in my old beater car, not a zx2) and all it did was take out my fender and mirror. No other damage other than a dent that's not too noticeable on my door.

so though the weekend of dealing with people i finally got some time with my car and got the side skirts started for molding, there molded on with tpo for now and the rear bumper got bolted up and also been started for molding. ill be spending my 4th of july molding on the rear bumper and side skirts and getting the 3rd brake light done and in primer. look for pixs next weekend

lol its ruff manz i still need to go over it and block and sand everything down. there are a few lines that need to be alil more straight. lol if i was able to do this at the shop my dad works at it would help so much but using a 10/15+ year old air compressor that leaks its not bad and in my back yard. hoping to have it done soon.

well went out dis morning and picked out the three colors im using on my car, 3 quarts of a viper color light green thats really bright like i wanted, a gallon of weird black that changes shades when in the light and not, also 2 pints of a really shiny silver. the guy at the paint shop quoted me over 1grand worth the paint and clear. im going to see what my dad's friend can do for me since he will be at my dad's work and said he can get me a huge discount or even possibly make my car a demo car and write it off. ill post color samples once i can get photos of them.

updates as of 7-28:

couldn't go with ppg paint because the guy we know only deals with sikkens so i had to choose paint as close as i could.

redid a few spots on the car, fixed bodylines, filled in the scoops in the side skirts for a cleaner look

primered the car except for the hood roof and trunk lid. 3rd brake light is giving me a fit so i have to redesign and look for a replacement for it.

this coming weekend ill be placing an order for the windshield and going to a pull and pay for a fuel pump and hope a headlight.

we are keeping it stock due to it being my grandfathers. the engine and tranny are still good. it has alot of cancer though in and out. i love the car. its all orange lol like a pumpkin from the paint to the carpet to the leather seats.

well went to the junkyard, 6 zx2s and all front ends was trashed. looked for another brake light and nothing, so pulled another fuel pump and came home. tomorrow im going for a new trunk lid because mines leaking from the hole i made trying to get the 3rd brake light i have to work even though i covered it up with ducktape really well. the light was to big for it to work blah -_- so im going to fill the reflector up in the one i get from the junkyard tomorrow and from monday onward, my dad is going to be keeping an eye out on truck lids getting replace to find another 3rd brake light. hopefully i can get a nice one from a corvette or ferrari or something since my dad works on all the 80k+ cars all the time at the shop he works at. monday ill be placing an order in with his co-worker for a stock not aftermarket header panel and driver side headlight and have his buddy buff my passenger side headlight since he dose them really well. so i hope to be driving my zx2 by end of the month

Well today we finished the trunk and got the base primer on it, sanded the stock hood fixed the spots and rock chips on it and primed it. We also removed the carpet and cleaning it right now. The interior is a mess and screaming clean me lol. Don't mind the photos my camera is messin up on me. The roof would be in primer but the air compressor blown up on us lol.

Well brakes are done, painted the drums and calipers a light green. After doing the drums I figured out why I didn't have an ebrake, it was jammed up so i had to get them free. Tomorrow im going to get my tires mounted and balanced. I'm also going to paint the door jams, and other places. The black im using is a starlight black metallic with pearl. The paint guy my dad deals with and the painter at the shop my dad works at said its the best looking black since its not foggy looking and it also gives a rainbow effect by the sun when its bright. I'm also going to be finishing my headliner.

hahaha thxs after i cut all the jams in with paint the interior will be cleaned and put back together :D wish me luck on a busy day. btw if my headliner gets to paint tomorrow ill put pixs but not before then.

Well car didn't get painted Saturday since the boss lady was out of town. so we loaded the car onto a trailer yesterday and left it in the parking lot which was hell. the car bounced to one side and we had to get it back in the middle which taken forever. Then when we tried to get the car off the trailer my front tie got so flat it came off the rim....thx god i got my new rims done though. so either today or Tuesday my car will be painted a nice shiny black :D. Gonna re-clean the interior with some new I.C.E cleaner by turtle wax before it gets put back together

well 7am this morning car went in for paint so that means pics tonite ill share a few :D it was suppose to be done yesterday but power was out at the shop till 2pm so not much time and they was behind 3 cars. boss lady said it was cool to get mine done first so im so happy :D that means find a way to get it home now without messing the paint up. cant drive it since no cooling fan and no tags as of yet.. so more cleaning this week and weekend lol

Well its done and painted, I got photos ill throw some teaser photos up for now. My camera suxs so the photos didn't come out right. I'll have to get better ones when i get it home tomorrow since in the morning they will be washing and buffing the car :D I'll post more photos later.

i wanted to keep the body lines since most people shave them off and after driving a van and making it slip though mud i car feels like a mini car :p i'll be able to control it better so i dont need to worry about crashing lol. plus im gonna baby my car lol

Not one of those people and plus this car is my baby and all i have so its gonna get done. tint is soon cuz door glass dont match and yea the rear glass is ugly.

Nope its been painted had my dad run out and look at it cuz I seen that also.

I was thinking of selling it but i doubt i will since i got this far. I been offered 6 grand from a friend of mine when I get it done. But I think ill keep it for at least another year then sell it for a 240sx

Needs to be washed since it has dust on it and compound from it being buff. Everything still needs to be lined up but we got it together at least. Prob going to the junk yard to pick up odd and end stuff and abunch of interior clips. I'll get more pixs tomorrow.

Well the moldings on the doors that line up with the mirrors i have ordered 54$ for both doors cuz mine are peeling. Going to the junkyard saturday for glass moldings if they dont have any in better shape im just gonna paint mine.

Called around for insurance and I'm going with allstate 70 a month for liability with deer and theft coverage. Which is really good for my bad record lol. so this weekend i'll be driving again blessed be

Great job molding the rear bumper to the quarter panels; it looks so smooth. The green is unique. I like it. What exactly did you do to paint the interior pieces as far as prepwork? What kind of paint?

lol i dont really remember the paint i just seen the green and went with it all i did was use alil thinner on the pieces to get raid of the old paint and spray some paint adhesive i found at advanced auto and spayed evenly.

drop im putting an led or 2 in each fender and one in the invader vent 1 in each vent inside the car and some neons under the front seats and dash but not for alil bit. thanks for letting me know you got some manz shoot me a pm on some prices

It's a 08 Maserati quattroporte cento there are only 100 in the states this one though is very special from what I was told by the owner of the bodyshop that my dad works for. Its 1 of 5 of this model of the 100 of them made or something like that I cant recall why but im sure it has to do with the interior or something. Anyways under certain reasons that I cannot say, its at the shop in need of repairs of 6k+. This car runs for 150k+ and only gets 12 mpg city and 18 on the highway. Sorry the photos are in the dark I got them early this morning.

No only the ones he works on because the owner and the boss of the shop trust him to make sure there done right. When people come in they always say how it looks better then factory and stuff. Anyways I found out the reason why that one is 1 out of 5 its the exterior color and a few small things in the interior, 100 where made different colors and there only 5 of that color and stuff.

So we went out with my car yesterday and 3 things wrong, brakes didn't work, tranny acting up it shifts but dosen't go into gear so im thinking that its cuz its been sitting for a year and the fluid isnt on the gears or something, we filled the tranny we got driving and when we pulled in to a parking lot we smelled tranny fluid and lifted the hood and its all over the engine though the dip stick is still in. ow and the service engine soon light came on -_- anyways got up worked on the brakes the light went out somehow and we are gonna drive it during the week to see if we can get the tranny to work right

well for alil more update on the car since the nozzles are wiped off the stock hood becuz i didn't wanna drill holes in my 2 c/f hoods while i was buying parts that i needed to finish it up i got nozzles off another car that attach to the wiper arm perfectly on our car. anyways the interior is together other then aftermarket headunit and the trunk setup and redoing the speaker covers in the door

nope not at the moment, its snowy so the covers are staying on. im designing my rear decklid cover for my 6.5 speakers and amp, designing my trunk setup all while im trying to find a beater. so really havn't missed anything except brads loyal fans trying to be funny

Since its starting to snow not much more will be done to it, ill be throwing the fog lights on and mesh but thats all ill do to the car itself. ill be working on my door panels and rear decklid cover over the winter so when spring comes the audio will be mostly done.

My tranny just went out so also when spring comes ill be throwing a MTX in. After the swap and the audio is in ill be posting it up for sale on here and on craigslist so i can get money up for my next car.

Also if you don't like my car then stay the fuck out of my tread really it's childish.
