Woot I'm first! :D lol

So I still have all my parts...

Jaxx wanted the SS and suspension... maybe RSB since Ese's out
I still have the MX-3 seats I need to trade for the dark charcoal front seats

I don't think there is anything else, but let me know when people wanted to swap anything out.

I don't have parts to exchange, but if I'm available when the swap goes down I'll go and help out..

You've got PMs! Yeah, the board went down at an inopportune time but I'm ready whenever to get together. I think I can help you with those charcoal seats too, btw.

I'm thinking next week, wednesday maybe, would be a good time to do some wrenchin. I'm partly seeing if it's ok with Socal and partly to see if people still want to make it a group project thing or not. I think I'm finally done with the majority of my moving so I'm pretty free after work during any day of the week. I'm not married to wednesday either, fwiw, if anyone has a better day for them.

Well as far as I know, I have no commitments during next week. Again the only really lame part is the suspension swap. That'll take the most time. The rest of it is pretty cake for swapping. I don't think either of us could afford the down time if we don't get it swapped out in one day.

So we'll need to make sure we get that done ASAFP.

Well, this is a sweet cluster fugg, but I think I've come up with a better idea. For one, I'm still stuck at work. Two, I don't know what I was thinking, but there's no way I can cram the two stock seats into the Z :? Then there's the whole swap thing with its given time constraints.

Instead I propose this: This weekend I'll wiggle the Z into my parent's garage where I can strip it down. That way we can skip half the labor when we finally get together. I can leave my car on jackstands in the garage and then load the seats, suspension, and shifter into a loaner truck for delivery to Lakeside, CA. As I'd be borrowing the truck and the time in the garage it'd be best for me to do the turnaround as early in the week as possible, but I leave the final scheduling to you, Socal. I'm at your mercy! I can't believe the logistical probs that keep popping up, sorry m8!

It's not a big deal bro :) I'm actually the problem. If I didn't work weekends, this woulda been done a month ago lol. We could do everything but the suspensin in like 2 hours tops.

It'll be a pretty good turn around for you for little bit of labor and stock replacements Jack :p

NP man... if you're setting it up for autox, I want a ride along ;)

All in all, things went very well. It's a shame though that I can't work on the car in that lot lol. At least that cop wasn't a dick about it. I'm sure I'll find that stupid nut tomorrow when I rip the rest of the back seat out to swap for matching rears (thanks again for hooking me up with that). I put the replacement nut on, but thats all the energy I had left today lol. I'm about to go light up a nice cigar and have a bigger than normal glass of scotch.

Quick turn around though. I mean we didn't start until after 5 and we were wrapping things up around 830. Things went WAY smoother then the last time I did that kind of work.

Hope you like everything... Just remember to tighten that strut rod nut down so you don't have the same clanging sound that I did LOL.
