Adj cam degree's

Hey everyone i just bought an Adj for the intake side and was wondering what degree i should run...i have heard of retarding it 5 or so..any input?

My mods

CWQ3
Hoshot intake
2.5 cat back
Udp
Msd Igntion w/wires and motor craft plugs
cam gear intake side

Drive with it for a couple of weeks with it 2* retarded, and see how you like it. Then put it to 3 or 4*, and see how you like that.

It all depends on where you want your powerband. If you want power up top, retard it a few extra degrees. If you want your power to come down lower, advance it some.

eh i am shootin for Mid to high..So retard 4 degrees?

i would say so... advance - bottom end; retard - top end

If you want the top end power, retard the intake 2-4 degrees with your set up.
There is not a huge difference, but you can feel a shift in the powerband from -4 to +4.
But like everyone else said, advance for low, and retard for high.
Don't go too much.
