Hey guys, I am trying to figure out what else I can make for your cars. I remembering that alot of you were saying that you would like to have a splash shield made out of aluminum that covered the bottom. Would this be a big hit? If I can get a list of 10 or more people that are interested I will design the part and have them made. As far as pricing, I have no idea yet. I am just trying to see if there is any interest.
If interested please put your name down.

This is not a contract or anything, just gauging interest

This might be cool depending on cost, if its too exspensive, i could make it on my own. im just too lazy!

I'd rather have the STB

really, a STB. Well I am either doing a STB or the shield. So I am trying to gauge interest to see whats more popular.

I KNOW a strut bar would get better interest.

Better yet...why don't you make a covering for this gap highlighted in red. A lot of us show our cars and with the hood open you have this nasty, ugly gap.

I would 100% buy both what Loon said (although he posted the picture twice lol) and a STB.

What Loon said would be cool to have. Always depends on cost.

I think it's psycotuners old set up.
Brad, I was just using the second picture so he could see the general area better without my sexy red lines..........
Something else to think about would be powder coating these and possibly making them able to bolt on under the support brackets so we could have them on there permanitly vs. just putting them on for a show.
Sheetmetal might be more cost effective vs. aluminum but you can't polish sheetmetal...thickness is going to be an issue on this.

Oh ok I thought you were showing the before and after.
I would 100% buy a STB and a cover like Loon showed. Good thinkin man!

OK, headlight cover it is. I will work on the design tomorrow. That should be pretty easy to make.

Just so you know dude, people were talking about a single piece of sheet alum to cover the entire bottom of the car for aerodynamic purposes. ;) There wouldn't be enough interest in this for it to be worth your time.
The rest of whats being mentioned might be though.

i would be interested in the aluminum splash gaurds(if like cap said^) the headlight cover and the stb all depending on the price tag.

Just be aware that sheet aluminum is not cheap.

yep I know this. I will do the cover for the lights. I will run one and see how much it cost me. Then I will do a group buy, just like the intakes and go from there. By the way the intakes are coming along well for those of you that bought.

actually it was to protect the underside of the car (oil pan , and header)that is why i proposed the idea in the first place in the feeler thread. aero was farthest from m thoughts. i would suggest something less expensive and 3/16's would be seffecient for protection and weight.

Yeah i seen it to be a skid plate rather than an aerodynamic thing. Skid plate FTW.

yeah a skid plate BTW im not all that concerned with weight. though i would like to see it stay under 20#
