I have the worst luck in the world, if something bad is going to happen for whatever reason it's going to happen to me. My whole life has been like this, especially the last two months.
I think I'll start with getting my car running. I leave for Japan to vist my soon to be x-wife leaving my car behind to be sent to a shop to get the new motor put it. When I get back my stepdad has took it upon himself to have my uncle do the work for me for $300 less than I would've paid elsewhere. I get back and my old motor is out of the car and that's it.
While putting my head together one of my cams broke. I had to look through 7 cars at two different junkyards before I found a cam in suitable condition to put back in my head. At this point I have to put the motor back together, again, and put it in the car not once but twice. My stepdad told me he had the CPS tightened and I didn't pay any mind to it when I put the trans back on. Everything goes into the car and I'm hooking up the wiring harness and the CPS falls back into the trans. Engine comes back out take the trans off to tighten one fucking bolt.
I get the car running and I'm going to reflash my computer with a tune that'll help run the car until I can break in the engine. My x-cal failed to unlock my ECM. I go to the junkyard find another of the same code, I get it back in the car, try to reflash it and I get the same message. 3 days till I can go to the tuners to have them fix the damn x-cal. They can't fix it and take it back only giving me a 60% refund even though they'll get a new x-cal to replace it with. The two remaining days I have to get 500 miles on my block every car in the world wants to race my ass, I can't bring the car into boost, go figure. I get the car to the dyno it doesn't make the power I want and none of the 5 shops I could get ahold of had a boost controller. So I'm stuck with 190hp when I wanted at least 250.
After the dyno tune I get a two puntures in my right rear tire and one in my left rear. There goes the $60 I need to buy a boost controller out the window. I have to tell the shop that ordered it for me to return it and they're pissed off at me.
I drive around for a week before I leave for my pending deployment, the car is running great, no problem but I can't get anyone to race me so I park my car for 3 weeks at the armory while it collects bird shit and is broken into and messed with by the armory douchebags and I go off to training.
This is basically one weeks time frame. I'll write more when I get done being pissed off for making myself think about this crap again.
